Great analogy. This nonsense of being overly reliant on haaland is the new narrative the pathetic media are trying to spread, well last time i checked haaland didnt pick the ball up from his own six yard box drive forward beat 11 players and bang one in. Yes of course he puts the ball in the net but it has to get to him to do that, take last nights goal, that relied on a decent ball to lewis who put it on a plate for haaland but the build up and the play for the goal doesnt suit the narrative so we ignore that bit. As i said yesterday when you go to a restaurant you dont give all the credit to the waiter who hands you your food you give it to the chefs and right now not enough credit is being given to the 'chefs' at city.
I was going to add a comment…but then read yours….enough said !The guys a pissheaded druggie gambling ****
Who knows fuck all switch the cracked headed **** over, he’s probably giggling like a girl on the phone to that other wanker Aldridge
You'll need way more than that to agree with that drug addled twat, the definition of a top team is that they are at the top which being 2nd would classify us as a top team, if you dont want to use that definition would a top team mean it contained top players well i think having the best striker in the world, the top midfielder in the world, one of the best young english players and the best gk in the world and a whole host of internation talent. not to mention probably the best manager of all time would satisfy that metric, would you class a top team as having won multiple trophies in the last 5 years, well we tick that box as well.flak jacket on, check, helmet on, check, trench dug, check
He's right, compared to the last few seasons (ignoring the last) we're not a top team. Then again, neither are Dippers or Chelsea. Arsenal are still bottlers and Spurs are still Spursy. Scum Don't even register.
Come back in 12 months time cokehead and see where we are then
He went on to say that we would not be a top 4 side without Haaland.flak jacket on, check, helmet on, check, trench dug, check

Pep has just broken up the greatest team to play the game in this country, 4 titles in a row with a treble thrown in for good measure is absolutely bonkers and the likes of Ferguson, Shankley, Paisley never did it.
He is now reset the team and is building something new. We don’t need some idiot like Merson to tell us that this City team is a work in progress. The wide players need to contribute more on goals and assists, and we need a right back. The team also needs to put games to bed more and develop its ruthless streak.
You can see things are moving in the right direction compared to last season where the squad looked a shadow of itself and seemed to shit the bed when we conceded a goal. Lots of work to do and this weekend should be a good test to see where this team is.
Great post, like you say moving in the right direction.
The media narrative won’t be that pep has built his 3rd version of Man City and been successful again, it will be “he’s got a one man team” which is because they can’t use the money narrative this time around.
Things are moving in the right direction and in the entire time pep’s been at city we’ve always come good after Xmas, even last year he found a way.
If he can do that again this year we will certainly be there or there abouts.
I gave you the metric I used in the second half of my post :)You'll need way more than that to agree with that drug addled twat, the definition of a top team is that they are at the top which being 2nd would classify us as a top team, if you dont want to use that definition would a top team mean it contained top players well i think having the best striker in the world, the top midfielder in the world, one of the best young english players and the best gk in the world and a whole host of internation talent. not to mention probably the best manager of all time would satisfy that metric, would you class a top team as having won multiple trophies in the last 5 years, well we tick that box as well.
In fact its a huge reach to find any metric where we would not be considered a top team and then to caveat that without haaland we would be no better than everton is just the ramblings of a madman.
The man is a drug addled halfwit and his opinions should be disregarded as such, if i wanted those opinions i could go to piccadilly gardens and talk to some spicehead for free and not have to pay sky for the privilege of it and the spicehead would prob make a more cogent argument.
I think we will certainly win a trophy this year. Perhaps the league or FA Cup. I think PSG will grab the CL again. But luck always plays a part.Think it might be a season too soon for this team, however if it’s close between City and Arsenal coming into March I would imagine the multiple trophy winners in the squad can impose their winning mentality on the new recruits which might make Arsenal crack.
We weren’t great in 23/24 compared to previous seasons and managed to take it. You never know it could happen again.
But you do agree that we are going in the right direction.flak jacket on, check, helmet on, check, trench dug, check
