I'm not sure, to be honest. I'm not saying you'll win the title (I think the bookies still have Celtic as favourites, ahead of you and Rangers in that order). But you bossed Celtic today. You're in a fantastic position now, no point saying otherwise. And McInnes seems a very smart manager/coach. If you can still be several points ahead come new year's day, it'll be interesting.
 
Hearts will inevitably stumble, but Celtic will have European distractions through January, at least. Hearts also have arguably their ‘best’ player yet to bed in, and Bloom’s very public aspiration may rather force his hand and see him strengthen the side even further in January. Interesting test of his gambling instinct.

I'm starting to think Bloom was taking the piss saying it may take him 10 years to make Hearts a title winner.

If he uses the same transfer strategy he has at Brighton there will be some gems arriving to propel them to the title.

I'll die on that hill. I've said it countless times, the SPFL needs a new face at the top come the end of the season. It's becoming tiresome seeing the same faces (okay; face, singular) win it every season (bar one) over the last 15 (?) seasons.

We are 5 points behind Celtic!

Every follower of Scottish football will tell you this happens every few years. A team whether it’s Hearts , Aberdeen, Hibs , Motherwell or whoever has a blistering start to the season. That doesn’t win leagues in Scotland! It’s those long winter months between December and end of February when injuries and suspensions kick in and the fixture list can pile up. That’s what separates the Top clubs from the rest and that’s when Celtic have consistently performed

Aberdeen won their first 12 league fixtures last season then went into free fall.

Nobody , I repeat NOBODY, believes Hibs are finishing above Rangers this season.

Aberdeen had 31 points after 11 games last season. Hearts would have to win their next two games to match that. But by Matchday 25 Aberdeen were 31 points behind Celtic, plus Dundee Utd and Rangers had overtaken them.

That’s why I’m not getting too excited for Hearts yet.

But they do look decent and Celtic look like they’re just about at the worst they’ve been for decades. Last year, while Aberdeen had a great start with 10 wins from their first 11 (with one draw), Celtic were still top after those first 11 games as they’d also got 31 points from 33 with a much better GD.

Celtic look miles off it this season though.

Bossed? We gave them 3 goals. Gifted woukd be more appropriate. Murray had a season ending display. If not worse. We bossed it first half after their flurry. Him giving away a penalty and getting out of the way of the shot for the second, destroyed us. If they think they are better than us, thats a dangerous delusion. We will make up those points and so will Rangers.

Celtic might make up the points but rangers wont
