So the reason they lost is because City didn't spend £500m in summer? I'm confused.

Slot seems to be carrying on that fine anfield tradition, championed by klopp also, of refusing to credit the opponent for a good performance and blaming the grass, the sky, the phase the moon is in. Will crack like an egg, the Humpty Dumpty impersonating schmuck.

Especially as Palace have beaten them twice already this season. Occasionally it is ok to throw a game if you have bigger fish to fry but not after spending half a billion and then complaining about it.
 
I don't fully understand what his problem is. His team, his side, his chosen players, his tactics - so where on earth do we fit into it? What must be going on in his brain if after yet another defeat he mentions other clubs and what their line-up was? If we'd been playing them and he mentioned our line up you wouldn't think twice about it: you'd expect him to speak about our players in his post-match interview. But by bringing us into it when we weren't even in the same country as him when we played smacks of something rather unsettling about his mindset.

Exactly,we just need to make sure we don’t slack off when we play the cnuts 90+ mins of going at them non stop ..
 
Kind of reminds me of the dippers of the past. They had some bang average players who were compensated for by their better players. They all gave their all but sometimes thats not enough however because they played for LFC they were capped - for me Phil Neal anmd Phil Thompson were never international class but they won multiple caps. Mind you that happened with a number of players and the evidence I'd present is the performance of the England team through the 70's

What I would love to see by someone, somewhere, is a discussion around what an achievement our 4 in a row was, when Liverpool, who was comfortable champions, then spent an absolute fortune are now struggling and looking unlikely at retaining it. We won it 4 bastard times, with them pressures of champions, with injuries, all whilst winning other pots along the way too. It also debunks the myth of our achievements are bought, which are lazy to begin with, but Liverpool can be added to the list of United and Chelsea of spending hundreds of millions and seeing nothing for it. I just wish it wasn't Arsenal ready to take advantage, can't have it all though.

I said this to my rag father in law the other day at a funeral. I led him right in talking about how bacon face was probably the best British manager of all time, and even he couldn't achieve FOUR IN A ROW. It was like the hamster powering his brain had fallen off its wheel
 
could be thought of as a waste of nearly 9 mins of your day but I'd urge you to give some time to watch the Dublin Dildo's meltdown. They have turned on Slot big style now but a lot of what he says here is correct and what helps is the pain that they know what happened
