Season Tickets - 2025/26 | Changes to ticket transfer this season (p101)

Cup ticket transfers are same rules as league games with one exception - you can transfer to a season ticket holder that’s not in the cup scheme.
A non-member can only be transferred to if they’re one of those that you’ve designated.
Thanks mate. Fucking hell, they don’t make it easy eh.

Next question, if they buy a Cityzens membership, can I transfer both Dortmund tickets to them or will they need two paid memberships?!

City’s ticketing policy really is a farce these days.

Think we could do with an FAQ section in this thread.

I genuinely cant keep up with what you can and cant do. It also seems to be so inconsistent on a match-to-match basis.

These rules are so complicated they almost force most who can't attend to give the seat back to the club.

Of course, the club hide behind some new Prem rules and blame it on the Prem as we all detest Masters etc but then suddenly like the financial rules if we're struggling shifting seats the rules change.

It's almost like we are acting like the Prem that we moaned about shifting goals posts...

Got an email from revolut yesterday that from today Eu customers will not be able to make direct debits using GBP. This puts me in a pickle as I pay for my season card on the monthly DD. Anyone else here in the same boat and what is your plan? Thanks

wtf is a reason for that. EU regulating again something that doesnt need to be regulated?

anyway I'd check Wise mate. heres some info but I'd ring/email them, explain the exact situation and see if they can comply

Not specifically about ticket transfer, but have had this reply from City about difficulty viewing the ticket site (only just been able to view available tickets for Everton and all other home matches say Restricted Sale):

Thanks for flagging this. The team is aware of the issue and is currently working on a solution.

As season ticket holders already have access to the match, the system typically prevents them from viewing or purchasing additional tickets. However, we understand that many fans check availability on behalf of friends and family, and the team is actively exploring ways to improve this experience.

In the meantime, anyone who qualifies and does not currently hold a ticket for the match can access available tickets through their account, subject to availability.

We appreciate your patience and understanding while we work on this, and take care.
Make sure you take care mate.

Down to Brexit and UK regulation now being different.

I went to the ground yesterday,( season ticket holder on cup scheme)cannot attend Dortmund game ,I am cup scheme, cannot find anyone to have our tickets, gets a bit complicated became are over 65,so upgrade needed etc,to cut a long story short told the girl in the City Store, I would donate them back to the club, she tried to sort it out, but couldn't as you can only donate back for Premier Lg games.

Username makes me a bit disappointed you didn’t blow them away.

It’s so annoying with the ticket rules now - my Dad is ill so had decided this morning he can’t go to the game.

I can’t transfer his ticket to anyone because of the transfer rules. I can’t list the ticket on the exchange because it’s within 24 hours of KO.

So this is a missed game when I would happily give the ticket away to fill the seat!

The club’s approach to this is so monumentally stupid and short-sighted that it beggars belief. There will be hundreds of empty seats today with people in a similar position to you unable to transfer tickets. Genuinely makes me furious that the club are persisting with this despite everyone telling them how stupid it is.

It’s abundantly clear the people creating these rules have never been regular match going fans who had to sort out tickets, and they also do not understand fan culture.

Either that, or they’re purposely making it difficult for some fans to attend games for whatever reason. Either way, it needs addressing and resolving urgently.

Hopefully,

The bad PR today should be a wake up call to the board, expect full on Emptiad jibes, why are they expanding etc etc

How many times has it been said by now that a certain event regarding ticketing should be a wakeup call?

Couldn’t make it today. My usual F&F nominee didn’t want the ticket so I listed it on the exchange but no takers.

So this “miss” will now be classed as my fault by City. Even though I did my best.

Ended up donating it to the CITC option. The website says City now donate the cost to CITC, which I don’t get as isn’t that just the club donating money to itself?
