Unfortunately I see the most entitled fans actually winning it for the 1st time in 20yrs, they are stronger in depth than us, but not better than us, we can’t win it year after year, 4 will do for now :)

This season maybe mate, we’ve seen 5 or 6 of our teams in the past who’d whipe the floor with them, they’ve got lucky theirs no “elite” city now, it’s their title to lose already I’ll be honest

Definitely. Although I don't think we're a million miles away from being back to one of the teams of the past 6 years.

Couple more players and we'll be a force again :-) even still clubs won't want to play us.

I like both him and Fernandez they're absolutely perfect together. Glad the dippers didn't land him that's for sure.

Chelsea have a good midfield 3 in Fernandez, Caicedo and Palmer but their wingers, forward and defence are absolutely shite.

They're only 6 points in front of us if we win our game in hand tomorrow.
There's a long way to go and we're not out of it.
I think we'll put up a challenge as the season continues.

Amazing to me that Arsenal will be only 6 points ahead of us after 10 games and we would have won at their place had it not been for an injury time equalizer!

That one goal was a 3 pt swing (1 extra for them, 2 lost for us), and we have yet to play them at our place.

I can’t understand the bedwetters saying “this year it’ll be different and they’ll win it all” MONTHS BEFORE CHRISTMAS!!

I actually like Fernandes from them. He’s turning in to a great box to box mid.
Good on the ball and never stops running. Team player.

The title race is still interesting. Lots of teams dropping points and it's definitely Arsenal's to lose. Be interesting to see what opposition do about their corners. No point people moaning about it, they've just found a way of making them work.

I agree with this however without being called arrogant etc I think for either City or Dippers to be a realistic challenger they would have to improve significantly. It's all good and well saying Arsenal will drop points (and they will) but City and Liverpool need to be ready to take advantage of this and I guess that's what many folk are struggling to see.

Most likely if anyone steps up it will be City - it is vital you beat Bournemouth today and then finally kill off the Dippers' title challenge next week else it will all be moot as this Arsenal side is a 90+ point PL side this season so there isn't much room for error.

Arsenal are much better now than they were in the last 3 seasons. City are better than they were last season but not as good as they were in the 4 seasons before that. Dippers had a freak season last season with Salah being unreal- now they are reverting to type and I honestly don't see any way they finish above Arsenal or City.

Liverpool are also much worse defensively, than last season.
Teams have also worked them out, tactically.
Agree, think it's Arsenal's title, unless they go far in all trophies, running out of steam.
Would be happy if City won a trophy, the League Cup could be the best bet...

Tbf I think the eye test counts and think they look best placed

Think our defensive numbers dont tell the full story, think we're still very vulnerable and thats where Arsenal are head and shoulders above everyone in their league, the defence

Honestly think at present, if I had to pick a prem back 4 id probably pick their entire backline

3 Goals conceded is wild, especially one was a Szoboszlai wonder strike

I dont think any of their signings are going to be huge successes but they have quietly (albeit expensivley) improved some weak areas

Zubimendi & Eze aren't world beaters but they have added quality to their midfield and taken some of the Burden off Rice/Saka

Gyokeres is a bit of a clown but his physicality suits their style of play, hes a proper #9 and adds strength to their attack

Heard last season u were better than the season before that, and same season before that, remember rice was the missing piece of the puzzle now its gyokeres, same season after season eventually youll be right but lets not act like you havent said this before.
