I've a tram question for this game.

I'm staying in Didsbury Wed/Thu night, how late do the trams run after the game. I normally walk back into Piccadilly after the game, but will need to get back to Didsbury afterwards, will I still be able to get a tram after 10:30 pm ?

Donnarumma
Nunes Stones Dias Ait-Nouri
Gonzalez Bernardo
Foden Reijnders Marmoush
Haaland

That should be enough to win the game. Plenty of options off the bench as well.

Then bring Gvardiol, O'Reilly, Rodri, Doku, and Cherki back in for Liverpool:

Donnarumma
Nunes Dias Gvardiol O'Reilly
Gonzalez Rodri
Foden Cherki Doku
Haaland

Loving this squad at the moment.

Trams run til about 11.30.

Metrolink are saying 11.30-ish from Piccadilly to Didsbury.

There’s also 4 actual trains an hour from Piccadilly to East Didsbury late at night and they are about ten times faster (12 minutes?) than the tram, depending on which part of Didsbury you need to be !
OK cheers I hadn't really thought about the train, sounds a better option, as I've a railcard.

I'm staying about 5 minutes walk from East Didsbury.

He'll almost certainly do a bit of rotation with Liverpool in mind. Depending on fitness issues, you could see the likes of Lewis, Khusanov, Stones, Kovacic and Ake getting a run out. The other option would be to start strong on wednesday, hopefully get a couple of goals ahead by the hour mark, then start subbing.
I would say there is zero chance of all those five starting, one or two maybe. I think he keeps rotation to a minimum and if the game goes well with no injuries there will be little change for the dippers either.

We are in a better place than this time last year, Bournemouth, Borussia Dortmund and Liverpool in quick succession would have been daunting last season. Still tricky but after yesterday’s performance I am feeling positive

That line-up vs Liverpool would be perfect.

Hard to predict the one vs Dortmund. Think Donna, Stones, Reijnders, Haaland and Marmoush are guaranteed to start.

I didn't mean to imply that all five were going to start, though I see how it can read that way. Two or three of them, possibly.

Donnarumma
Khusanov Dias Gvardiol O Reilly
Reijnders Nico G Foden
Cherki Haaland Doku.

I'd rotate Bernardo and Nunes out, but thats it. Wouldn't mess with the CB's for now.
