Premier League Games | 8/9 November '25

You really don't do yourself any favours on here at times, throwing out accusations about us being lucky. Try to remember, you're a guest on a City forum. Having petty little digs will not be conducive to you being on here long term.
He's OK. WE haven't got thought police on here, unlike Sad Cafe or RAWK

Flip side it again. Liverpool are a far better side than Sunderland and we will have a tough fixture out of the way regardless of what happens and at best arsenal only managed to pull 1 point further away from us.
All fixtures are tough, no easy 3 points anymore, we sit here and call the rags shit, they beat the dippers away, and got a draw at Tottenham away, Tottenham battered us at home, so you are saying when we go Sunderland away its an easy 3 points?

Clearly knows fuck all about football.
Sunderland will not be hunting them down at the end of the season.
We know they are shithouses. If the victims are out of it by then, Arse will shit the bed as usual. The clue is in the name:)
Let's see. There's a long way to go. I doubt we will shit the bed though - first thing first you beat the Dippers tomorrow, else it's moot. Then it's tough games at Newcastle and Palace I believe. We are home to Spurs and away to Chelsea so not gimmes either.

We should get a load of our key injured attacking players back after the international break, and have a big squad so I'm confident. You have the know-how of how to win PL titles plus have Haaland so you're confident. Should be an exciting PL season either way.

I’m saying if We played Sunderland 10 times and we played Liverpool 10 times we would be closer to 10 wins in the Sunderland column.

Let’s not pretend that some fixtures aren’t trickier than others.

Your gonna bottle it mate

Our resident Gooner will have some fun on here if we lose to Liverpool later ha
Even if we did lose the fact Arsenal failed to take full advantage of a weekend where City played Liverpool means that it is all still there to play for when we return from the international break.

I think some people really underestimate how bad a time that was to drop points by Arsenal. Beat Sunderland and then sit back and watch tonight’s game and you effectively could have drawn a line through which ever team was defeated as a potential title challenger.

Now whatever tonight’s result the door has been left ajar for both teams to make a proper go of it when they return after these internationals. Only a small chink in the armour but definitely the first sign of bottling from the league leaders.

Just imagine, one of our players is on a yellow and trips a Dipper à la Lukic of Fulham. Would it be just a free kick. He's the person with most fouls in the PL and the second to get five yellows. The irony is that the person he fouled twice is the player with far fewer fouls but the first to get five yellows. Added time and yellow cards? Nothing is handier for manipulating a game.
