I have. Can’t quote you as you’ve not posted the image properly.
Linehan shows that he’ll pile on women after being asked to stop.
What a guy.
Did I blame you? I simply said I couldn’t reply…I have.
But blame me, that's OK/expected.
He'll pile on whose definition of "women"? Asking for a friend.
What's your definition of a 'guy"?
Asking for a friend.
They can apologise and tell him to fuck off with his claim for damages. There’s nothing remotely inconsistent about that, given the requirements for such a claim to succeed.Once they've retracted their apology, you mean ?
From newspaper of the year to Tory trash in a few short years.I don’t mind the Times. Depending on the topic, the FT is good.
The worst one for me has been the decline of the Telegraph. Only do the crossword in it nowadays!
Sure you’re not mixing up reportage with opinion pieces? The Times?
Sweet baby jesus
Go on, go on, go onBluemoon’s own Graham Linehan.
Not managed a positive post since being poisoned in the trans culture war.
Ah, it's nothing. Just went mad for a second, there. And there we go :) Wish you’d have just said that at the start and just been open about it!
From newspaper of the year to Tory trash in a few short years.
Well thats the thing isnt it mate - there is considerable evidence that the bbc has been and is pro israel, and has enabled the genocide in a very big way. Also worth pointing out Michael Presccott does not speak Arabic. So he's in no position to assess what was being said himself, and is relying on (at best) second hand reports that he's passed off as his own concerns.
There was a huge pro palestinian march to the BBC earlier in the year because of their pro Israeli stance. Police stopped it going right to the headquarters. Blocked it all off so they wouldn't reach it. Thousands of Jews were in the protest and over a dozen Holocaust survivor'sWell thats the thing isnt it mate - there is considerable evidence that the bbc has been and is pro israel, and has enabled the genocide in a very big way.
But now we get morons parroting right wing shite that the bbc is pro Palestine, based on a report in the telegraph on bbc Arabic!? No one's going to be well up on that content of bbc arabic and that report right now so we cant properly dispute it (yet). It will take weeks for decent journalists to investigate, by which point the israel lobby will be shouting some other shite and amplifying it on gbeebies, talk tv etc etc that the gullible morons will then be parroting and will have completely have forgotten and moved on from this one
Needs fucking off. More streams are going live, boxing etc and thats how they will try and do it?I see the Government are now looking to include streaming as a requirement for a TV licience.
This is pure whataboutery, I don't care that much about what's happening in the Middle East, I don't give a shit about Trump, but I do care about women's rights and child safeguarding and I used to care about the BBC, I'd like to care about it again, and if this furore is the beginning of a root and branch I'm all for it.
But there'll be no root and branch if we talk about everything other than the real reason why the shit has hit the fan.
I repeat....
Pro Palestinian, pro gender ideology, anti Trump.
Doesn't look like right wing capture to me and I'm sure I'm not alone.
As far as I'm aware the BBC has not denied the basic premise of the accusations, hence their admission of "mistakes and the resignations, if I'm wrong I'm happy to be enlightened. Again as far as I'm aware the pro Palestinian accusation relates specifically to the BBC's Arabic output and at least when I visited them many moons ago with my Lebanese distributor they had editorial control of their output, distinct from the BBC's domestic output. So you don't care about what's happening in the middle east, but you come on parroting bullshit that the BBC is "Pro Palestinian", despite knowing fuck all about it and blindly believing and parroting the telegraphs bullshit:
Here is the definition of 'whataboutery' by the way:
"The technique or practice of responding to an accusation or difficult question by making a counter-accusation or raising a different issue."
Me pointing out that the bbc's middle east editor is a raging mossad obsessed zionist (very obviously a quite astoundingly pro israel conflict of interest), or that a detailed (and reliable, unlike the shite in the telegraph) report on the bbc bias towards israel, is not a separate issue and is quite obviously relevant.
This is extremely basic stuff even a small child would understand.
Yet your care doesn't extend to the 'editorial control' of the domestic output? As far as I'm aware the BBC has not denied the basic premise of the accusations, hence their admission of "mistakes and the resignations, if I'm wrong I'm happy to be enlightened. Again as far as I'm aware the pro Palestinian accusation relates specifically to the BBC's Arabic output and at least when I visited them many moons ago with my Lebanese distributor they had editorial control of their output, distinct from the BBC's domestic output.
As for caring I care about Gaza as much as I care about Sudan, both places I've been to by the way, in so far that my care makes no practical difference whatsoever, my care about the BBC is different as it stems from the fact that we both have something in common, we're both British.
Yet your care doesn't extend to the 'editorial control' of the domestic output?
So much for your concerns of institutional capture.
