My take on today..No surprise we are top of the league with a manager who knows exactly what he's doing. I thought his team selection and tactics were spot on today against a potentially tough opponent. Jade Rose is an absolute gem of player and an absolute rock at the back. Knaak is a solid defender and dangerous at set prices . Caspari player of the season so far and Yamashita nailed on now as no1 keeper. Left back is a bit a concern tho and maybe O Hanlon could be available in January. Overall looking very good and with no champs league so proper focus on the league is vital. It's scary to think Greenwood,?Kerolin and Fowler are yet to come back into this team which is already blessed with fantastic forward talent.. Beney looks another gem....I'd like to see Lohman and Clinton involved a bit more in midfield, sometimes we look lightweight with LBB and Yui in there.
One point about BBC coverage, I last count of the times Manchester United ..Champions League.. PSG bla bla were mentioned as some excuse for them. Woeful coverage. They were absolutely outclassed ffs!!

Well the damage was done in the first half, especially late on, and the rags never recovered from it ..... wasn't really anything of note to follow in the second half, neither side really threatened to score, although Jade Rose did exceptionally well to head the ball off the line, and got a real 'shiner' on the forehead because of it .... as did the United girl, who in fact, got an even bigger one!
For me, Rose was the player of the match.
Covered really well, controlled any forward in her vicinity and put her body on the line. Made me take notice.
Of course the pre-assist too. Quite possible, when she's in her full flow (and if she stays beyond this contract, fingers crossed) she'll be in the 'future capt' chatter.
Few years to go for that to happen, though.

Great win that, controlled the game completely apart from about 10 minutes of the first half, made united look shite.
Viv's best game for us for me, but they all played well, and three great goals. Shout out to Leila, who often gets stick on here, quite probably her best game for us as well.
Very impressive performance, sadly we'll only be 4 in front until about 12:01 tomorrow, but we've some good players to come back into the squad too.
Thought Park would be better given all the hype she's had since moving there, at least she knows what she's missing now.
I expect a new rash of earps stories on the bbc to cover it all up.

Bunny should have had at least one more goal, but she is a classic CF. Her assist for the first was just so and her goal was brilliantly athletic.

I spotted the CL reference from Finnis-Brown on the BBC web. But we delivered a game that the Ragettes couldn't handle, and whatever the Ragettes had up front we dealt with. Just watched the local tv coverage - we got the one goal and just before the second went in they slap up a poster on screen to cover it over. Fair points. Still thought Park looked their best player today. Hope Clinton comes goodJust because Park is playing well for United doesnt mean Clinton won't be great for us. Way too early to judge given shes been injured. City's scouting and recruitment has been excellent in the last couple of seasons and we were watching Clinton for a long time before bringing her in.
Also worth noting that regardless of the performances Park has put in for United, the players we have in the positions she plays have also been excellent.

First time I've been to a women's match, really enjoyed that.
