North Stand Construction Discussion

Its kind of like the distressed jeans look i.e. it took a huge amount of effort to make it look shit (randomly offsetting the bricks)

I always wondered why people would rip good looking jeans on purpose, especially large rips around the knee areas.

I wonder which end they will setup on, it used be the north stand because of the tunnel and access is easy, but if they switched to the south you could have the full North Stand doing the Poznan, that would certainly test it and would look brilliant.

I’m sure I’ll get absolutely slaughtered for posting this, as it has nothing to do with the North stand construction thread, and adding a link to the United website. Rag, jrb!

One of the largest safe standing areas in the Premier League will officially open at Old Trafford for the visit of Everton on Monday.

A total of 6,000 additional rail seats have been installed in the second tier of the Stretford End since September.

Fans with season tickets in the second tier of the Stretford End were surveyed before work began and this demonstrated strong support for safe standing in the section

I was surprised only half of the North Stand extension was devoted to safe standing.
