Just think if there was no VAR we still would have lost 2-1. Against the dippers with no VAR we still win 3-0. Today was Villa away on repeat. Soft as shit midfield, it may work at home but away it’s no good. Bernie and Foden shouldn’t start together away from home. We seem to struggle against defenses that are well-drilled with physical midfielders.

I know Nico has been phenomenal at LB, but I wouldn't mind trying him in midfield and putting RAN back at LB, just to give the midfield some physicality in games like this.

In fairness, we still created absolutely golden chances.
