I have to vehemently disagree. Almost every single manager in the world would come to City barring a select few but only because they are already employed at a top club...
If a new manager who as you say is "serious" were to come in Bobb, Savinho, and Lewis would not see the field.
Adding Nunes playing as an RB to your list is a bit odd to say the least.

In general Nunes is a mistake. He has been originally bought as a midfielder and he was horrible at that role. Good but not top as a RB. Nowhere near the level of Hakimi, Kounde, Timber - for me 3 best RB in the world. If Viana will find someone better, he could be sold. Still, he is makeshift RB and he is not an intelligent player. Quite good runner, but I prefer him over Rico. 7/10 season, so I have to appreciate him not being his enthusiast at all. To be honest I don’t like any fullback at City apart from Nico O’Reilly.

Lewis was never good IMO. He is still in 2022. Small, little kid. We know some people are here just because of homegrown quota. To be honest, the English/homegrown core at City is very weak. We used to have Sterling, Walker, Grealish who were the core of Southgate’s team in 2021. Right now, City’s players are disregarded by Tuchel.

My problem with City is more pragmatic: overall lack of pace, physicality, awful OOP and non existing pressing with players like Bobb, Savinho etc.

The lesser technical midgets in this team, the better.

Why is he complaining about the amount of games ?

All teams play similar amount of games, including maybe Leverkusun but the difference Pep has a close to 1 Billion worth of squad & a good academy to rotate & rest more.

The difference is that he doesn't have to rest 10 main players suddenly, he can rotate 3-4 players who really needs rest.

Would could do with buying leaders on the pitch, I see no one out there bollocking people or getting stuck in, like Kompany and Fernandinho did. I see Dias chest bumping every time someone tackles and that’s it. Rodri maybe but I honestly think unfortunately we’ve seen the best of him and he won’t come back strong, I hope he proves me wrong. I agree that behaviour is a problem. Without a doubt. But their choice was cynical and pure business. They have signed a top level finisher no matter what and at any costs.

To be honest I would love from the new coach something different to try and switch the formation into 1352. Our wingers are shit, literally dogshit at the top level, there are a few good strikers, City has fullbacks who can play as a wingbacks, a lot of CBs. And I would try to eliminate the weakest links (Savinho, Bobb, Lewis) and play our strong sides. I literally can’t stand these type of wingers like Savinho or Bobb who are the worst from the worst and they are producing ZERO.

maybe add serious physical midfielder to work with Nico because Reijnders is ass defensively and Rodri is non stop unfit. We are treating Nico in the same way as Rodri. Like a horse, just waiting for injury. Midfielder is as important as winger in terms of new players.

As an aside, I agree Reijnders is not great defensively regardless of that goal saving block he made in the box tracking back yesterday. But he is an excellent attacking 8. I have no idea why Pep keeps putting in some deeper roles when in reality he's closer to Foden in terms of profile than he is a six...

My point is ya can't put Nunes anywhere near the same bracket as Bobb, Savinho, or even Rico Lewis. Those guys should have been either sold or loaned out by now. No one can convince me that they are here if Pep didn't want them here. God knows why?

Homegrown quota with Bobb and Lewis. Savinho - probably they think every top team needs Brasilian. They created toxic situation with Savinho, because selling him in January/summer will be really hard, but this guy has to be sold but we all see he is protected by top ranking people at club and that’s the problem.

In terms of Nunes - ok, but I can’t see extending his contract as well. So he will be sold in 2026 or 27.
