City bend the rules

Daniel Farke
accused Gianluigi Donnarumma of feigning injury to "bend the rules" as Manchester City denied his Leeds team a precious Premier League point on Saturday at Etihad Stadium.

The visitors got off to the worse possible start with Phil Foden scoring inside the first minute, before Josko Gvardiol doubled the hosts' advantage before the break.

However, Leeds rallied after the break after a change of tactics and formation, with Dominic Calvert-Lewin scoring immediately after the restart.

Funny how nobody calls out Arteta.

Like every club has not done it a million times, Farke does it today and the press hail him as a Germanic genius

Wasn't it Southampton that started it against City, then all teams started doing it
Also, who was it that started the fake head injury at corners

I don't really know where to start with that game. It was utterly bizarre. I did warn in the pre match post that we underestimate Leeds at our peril and so it proved.
We get off to a great start, score a second and Leeds survived getting a battering by throwing bodies in the way of everything and lots of luck. We were totally in control, even if it was a bit disjointed and stuttering at times.

We ran out before Leeds for the second half and looked right up for it.....then just totally went to pieces. Mistake after mistake and Guardiola and Donnarumma were like a comedy act doing a comeback from our bad old days. All Leeds had to do was pump the ball forward and we absolutely shit ourselves.
We are weak mentally and physically and some players just aren't at the level we need to take us back to the top. Haaland was probably our best defender that's how bad we were at the back. Just as well because he was totally anonymous upfront.
Only Foden, Bernardo, Gonzales and to an extent, given he's a young lad, O' Reilly came out of that game with any credit.

As for that scouse **** of a ref Banks he needs investigating for that performance. We should certainly be putting a complaint in, bent isn't the word.

We got three points and that's about it. After our display against Liverpool i really thought it was all coming together but since then it looks like its all coming apart. Sure we're second atm but massive improvement needs to be made on and off the pitch, particularly with recruitment.

How many times have other teams done this is us hahaha City do it for the first time and all hell breaks loose and it's cheating
Not to mention we only had to breathe on them and they were falling all over the show. Their own keeper took and age to take a goal kick and all their players took even longer to take any set piece.

Yep the standard we were at the standard of the players we had will be hard to do again! Us fans need to quickly realise it’s not going to be as good as that if ever! The sooner we realise the sooner we stop being nervous in the crowd and on the players backs! The scum were on there teams backs for years after that manager expecting leagues trophies!

The fella i quoted is admirable for only EVER seeing city through blue tinted glasses. Thats great as he’ll only ever see great things.
For us realistic moaners its good to see it how it actually is

I think we are the second or third best team in the country. It's a weaker league at the top, and strong in the middle. We aren't so far off that it's impossible, but either Arsenal need a serious collapse or we need to improve. It is what it is, who knows where we might be in the cups in the spring.
Agree with all that fella. I said before season started I expected a fight for top 4 again and hopefully a domestic cup. Our first 11 is good enough to compete on its day with anybody. It's not good enough to win the big ones though IMO. I do feel a hell of a lot of money has been wasted on some very average players.
