I like Greens and Lib Democrats, but what chance would they seriously have if they were to govern? would be a shambles.

I've only got sons but if I had daughters I'd be a lot more worried about the fact there's at least a 1 in 4 chance of them experiencing domestic violence in their lifetime and that stuff like coercive control is on the rise with young women being particularly at risk. All sorts of violence against women, especiallyin the 16-24 age group, is on the rise and needs addressing but that's got nothing to do with trans people.

All the culture war shit does is distract from the real problems we have, in this case the fact that somewhere around 2 million woman this year will suffer some form of abuse at the hands of 'normal' blokes.

I can not express enough how much I personally don't give a shit about what I perceive as Trans panic nonsense. If you want to talk with someone about it I'm sure there's a thread on here somewhere where people can indulge you in conversation. If you think that there's a Green Party ideology that wants your young daughters to piss in front of Trans people, then that's what you believe. I think that's nonsense.

I think the issue has been cynically concocted as a distraction and to whip up fear around some very vulnerable people in our society. In my experience the loudest voices in this debate that frame themselves as being concerned with 'protecting women's rights', begins and ends with Trans people in bathrooms. Rarely do their concerns expand in to; equal pay, better research in to women's healthcare or supporting the women in the sports they claim trans people are supposedly trying to replace them in.

As we've seen this week with Twitter Geo location update there's now a whole industry in other countries made from getting British pensioners riled up about this type of shit on social media and I refuse to engage in the brain rot.

That’s true about the right wing media. Still a myth that he’s anything other than centre right. He keeps pandering to them and is coming up with policies that our just soft versions of reform.
