What exactly is erratic because hes creating chances, stretching defences and doing everything other than score the fucker himself.
How was he Shite? He is our only creative output. Some weird comment in here. Without him we don’t create chances AT ALL. + O’Reilly is barely lapping him . There are other players where your comments make more sense but definitely not doku

I'd expect any winger to create chances, I don't think he creates enough, 2 or 3 a game mostly. I get that he excites people, he does me sometimes, as I said he looked world class v liverpool, but generally he flatters to decieve. It's not just about creating chances, he rarely scores any, and most decent winger chips in with goals.
This season - 19 games, 3 goals, 4 assists, it's not enough for me.
I'd just add, he wasn't a winger yesterday as he spent a lot of time playing as an 8 or 10, what is his role ?
2-3 a Game is literally above average by the way. Do you even watch football? He is top in chance creation .
Foden has an average of 1.2 per game. Our players just score. According to „ stats „ he should have 10 assists already

I'm glad someone loves him, I just find him very frustrating, he makes too many bad decisions, in a team making too many bad decisions at the moment. A team that is better than it's actually showing.

We were spoilt for 6 years and what was seemingly normal was record breaking never been done before football which we wont ever replicate again and now unless everyone is 9.9/10 every game they are shite.
100% agree with you. He won’t be playing regularly in the next successful City side. No sense of the goal like Pep says. I find him an awkward watch most of the time. Rarely seen him have a half decent game away from home too.

Nothing wrong with Doku's performance against Leeds. Some people just don't want to admit they were wrong about him.

Instead of being so negative, why not acknowledge the undoubted progress he has made this season?
He had an average game at the weekend because the full back did well by but still created 2-3 really good chances.

We get that with Nunes as well, if they do praise it’s always with a caveat as well, where as some like Erl seem to be immune to any criticism.

He's too inconsistent. When he's on fire - best in the league in that position.
When he's not he is average and actually breaks down our play a few times.
If I were pep I would hook him off as soon as it's clear he isn't on form that game. If he isn't on form it just doesn't happen.

I was critical of him in the past, probably over critical. This season he's kicked on.
There's lots to like about his game.
1 vs 1 - Lethal
Always looking to be positive and take on the full back
Never seen someone as explosive from a standing start
Huge backside and low centre of gravity, impossible to knock off the ball
He must be a nightmare to play against, however with players like this, he's probably difficult to play alongside as well. Doku is reacting to the defenders and he himself doesn't fully know what he's going to do. So as a striker or forward it's difficult to anticpate what he's going to do next. So you could end up on your heels and the chance goes begging even after Doku has beaten 2 players.
I would like him to run in behind the opposition as well, rather than wanting it to feet all the time. If he can add that to his game he would be even more devastating.
As people have alluded to, he needs to add more goals and I'm sure he and Pep are looking to address this. He should be looking at double figures

I think everyone’s been shite since Liverpool. The international break fucked us, it disrupted our flow and we’ve lost our mojo.
From a week where we beat Bournemouth, Dortmund and Liverpool and looked like the best side in the country, the international break has seen Donnarumma come back looking like a scarecrow flapping in the wind, the solid looking Nunes-Dias-Gvardiol-O’Reilly back four who’d never lost a game playing together look disjointed and panicky, the midfield has looked weak and slow, Doku looks like he’s reverted to last season, Haaland hasn’t had a shot that’s even looked like being threatening to going in the net…
Hopefully this new week has freshened some heads and legs and we go to Fulham tonight with an invigorated display.

Why? Does that matter? I mean when he's not on form he is losing the ball leaving us exposed.
Someone who keeps the ball.
Remember I'm only talking about when Doku is not having his top game. Otherwise he's our most important player when is on his game right now. Oh and Haaland

Always offers a threat even on his off days. Best attacking option we've got at the moment.
