Will we win the league this season?

Think your the one who needs to lay off the drugs pal

We’re currently 5 points behind and if we win that gives us 3 points which will make us 2 points behind.

Failed maths in school did you?
Not wishing to provoke you any further but it isn't a question of maths... unless you want to discuss the probability of us winning (which was merely the point I was trying to make).

You had a terrible way of trying to make it. Try harder next time

I must be misreading that!?!

Are you seriously saying that the players are only actually running about ONE MILE per 90 minutes?

well, i am unsure how these running stats are calculated, but even the BBC now seem to produce the running stats per game (presume theyre coming from Opta? or some other analytics service). City 'run' anything from 102 to 114 km per match, as a team, and we're one of the better ones. If you assume that is pretty much all covered by 10 outfield players and the BBC link below says 'sprinting' is 7.5% of that, then that's an average of about 800m per player in that Leeds match. Sprinting that is.

So, maybe that is what is used in the graph? and how do you define sprinting? questions questions.

How on Earth are we 2nd and only 2 points behind.

With this squad, not a fucking chance.

Need Rodri back, Semenyo signed and maybe 1 or 2 more.

These performances of late if they carry on will average out to more losses than wins.

It cannot carry on this, no matter how fun it is.

It's all very Spursy

We are honestly riding our luck a lot. These results will catch up and will average out over the season based on how we are performing if we don’t massively improve.

City feel like 03-06 United. As in still in the top 3, but not good enough to win the league. It's a transitional period. But unlike City, the likes of Rooney and Ronaldo were 18-21 during that spell. Most of the City lads are 25+. Nico is the only real youngster in the starting XI.

For me, City need their own Gabriel/Saliba/van Dijk (prime). An athletic, tall, commanding and composed CB. Dias is a good player. But he'd really benefit from that profile next to him. Or in the long term, Gvardiol needs that profile next to him. Reis might develop into a top CB.

Nunes is fine as a squad player. A better overall RB is probably needed, to be honest.

If Rodri isn't going to get back to his best, another DM/CM to share minutes with Nico González needs to be brought in.

Doku finally seems to be locking down the LW spot. With Bobb not really stepping up since his injury and Savinho not rated by most City fans, a RW needs to be brought in as well.

So... CB, DM/CM, RW. And maybe a more natural backup ST for Haaland. City still have a chance this season. But I do think that it's probably Arsenal's time.
