Bernado is Peps pet. Only reason he stays on pitch apart from being "captain"Tbh Pep summarised the game really well. I'm glad he agreed that one of our biggest issues last night was defending too deep against set pieces and their press, which resulted in way too much space on the edge of our box when loose balls went out there. From managing teams myself in the past, that is 101 stuff at any level though, don't leave players in space in that danger zone. I'm hoping he pays specific attention to that going forwards.
Also, was Nico injured? If not, it's weird that despite admitting he is our last standing holding midfielder after Rodri and Kova, he takes him off but leaves Silva on.
i guess you saw him take one in the nutz and couldnt run he was gassed i agree with silva but he'll play next two gamesAlso, was Nico injured? If not, it's weird that despite admitting he is our last standing holding midfielder after Rodri and Kova, he takes him off but leaves Silva on.
I genuinely thought the commentator had spaffed himself to the moon when a Fulham player went down in the box late on (after O’ Reilly challenge).First league game I’ve missed this season, fucking Sky biased as fuck, the commentator and empty head Sutton willing Fulham to beat us, cunts
I don't believe that's true mate. I think Pep's trust in Bernardo has to be dwindling though. Until recently he has regarded him as the last of the old golden era team, the one he could trust to keep the ball and settle games down. It's obvious that his ability to do that just isn't there anymore, he is losing possession more than anyone and doesn't have the pace to rectify errors, he also seems very quiet these days. I suspect this will be his last season, certainly as being a regular starter. I reckon, as with Gundo's latter months, Pep has a bit of sentimentality going on and wants to give Bernardo a chance to get back to form, but I suspect this won't happen.Bernado is Peps pet. Ah yes, I'd had more than a few beers by that pointi guess you saw him take one in the nutz and couldnt run he was gassed i agree with silva but he'll play next two games
Double likeHad the press in the palm of his hand.
Piss funny.
If only a few on here was as chilled as pep after last night.
This is definately his last season and though you say don't think it's true then go on an endorse that it probably is. They were taking the piss with him last night playing around him for fun. However, as an aside, we need to remember, many other younger players have also not performed well enough regularly this season, so it may be unfair of us to judge Silva purely on age related matters.
He is actually very good. Work horse when he isn't having a good game.Bernado is Peps pet. Only reason he stays on pitch apart from being "captain"

No, I said I don't believe he is his 'pet'. Having trust in someone doesn't mean they are the favourite. This is definately his last season and though you say don't think it's true then go on an endorse that it probably is. This season (and much of last) he has been a shadow of the player he was. Whether that's to do with age or just bad form (like many others in the team), I guess time will tell. For what it's worth, I love Silva, I'd love him to get back to his best.He is actually very good. Work horse when he isn't having a good game.
If you don't rate him though I guess you don't rate him.
Look he is end of. Nearly 50 years of being a fanatical blue i think im not far wrong fellaNo, I said I don't believe he is his 'pet'. Having trust in someone doesn't mean they are the favourite.

Bernardo is TODAY a passenger. Not talking about few previous years gone by obviously. Yes hes popping up behind the ball trying to help defend at RB/ end of area/ everywhere etc but there lies the problem and why ANY opp will fancy their chances against us. Not just him of course. We have a few lemmings in the team atm for sureHe is actually very good. Work horse when he isn't having a good game.

We miss him when hes not there (see Leverkusen) , all capable of having a bad game, like Haaland last Saturday and Phil at Newcastle. He is actually very good. Work horse when he isn't having a good game.
