Jay fucking Boothroyd.....in what universe did sky think employing this absolute cretin to comment on football games was a good idea? A bang average footballer and an even worse pundit.
I said same at least twice before. He is a nobody. And he looks like he needs a damn good hosing down, he just looks 'smelly ' to me! ( female POV ).

A baffling decision to take Nico off and play the last few minutes with no defensive mid. Stones was very poor when he came on. The space in front of the centre backs is killing us. Until Rodri is fit we need two holders in there. Nico and someone else. Perhaps even O’Reilly till Kova is fit.
Maybe Khusanov right back and Nunes holding?

Didn't really know what forum to put this quote in.
Have Newcastle bought themselves in with the cartel ? Just going off the the unbelievable decisions given to them against City and the ridiculous penalty given to them last night against spuds. Decisions normally only awarded to the rags, dippers and gooners.
I just can't understand how such bad decisions can be made with the technology being used. Some are subjective I agree, but most are common sense and common sense has gone. Just look at the penalty Foden didn't get then a few days later Caseido (Chelsea) gets sent off for an identical tackle.

I think there's a 'conspiracy theories' thread in Off Topic..

Twatman Dave (United fan) from the BBC calling Donnarumma a flop last night, he had a similar campaign against Foden during the Euros last year.

Had the press in the palm of his hand.
Piss funny.
If only a few on here was as chilled as pep after last night.

I don't know what it's like watching games at the stadium these days - I imagine dreadful - but it's really terrible watching at home: I can't hear the pre-game discussions, then I have to watch the match with the volume turned down so I don't have to listen to idiot and biased commentary, a cup of tea and something to eat at half-time to avoid more ill-informed banality, volume turned down again for the second half and then everything switched off the moment the game finishes.

For me, it's like the pleasure has gone out of the game. Maybe the younger folks like this sort of "enjoyment" but for me it's a dispiriting experience these days, irrespective of performance on the pitch.
