Yeah cos you see goals of that quality down Hough EndI for one didn’t enjoy it at all. Like two Sunday league teams at times
I don't necessarily think that Savinho is taking the flak, it's more a marker of where Pep's mind is right now that Savinho is preferred to Marmoush and that Grealish was frozen out to accommodate him despite playing nowhere near as poorly last season. Not sure why Savinho is taking all the flak tbh. The whole team was a mess.
I don't think you've remembered that correctly. We were down to 10 men for almost the entire game against Fulham during the treble season and the lads ran through brick walls to get that 2-1 win over the line. Not comparable in terms of any winning run but I think I remember during the treble season it took a last minute Haaland penalty to beat Fulham was it at home?
Plenty on here were moaning and criticising Pep and the team afterwards.
Yeah me we wonAny other prick in this thread wants to shut down any discussion and criticism of what happened today by reminding us it doesn't matter because we won?
Abysmal footballer, a bit over the top don't you think ?51.
Again. I see it week in week out. He is one of the worst signings to ever pull on the blue shirt.
He even manages to tackle himself along the way. He offers nothing apart from making the team weaker whenever he comes on or starts. How long do you want to give him?
Abysmal footballer simply not cut out for the rigours of Premier league football and its physicality. The fact he flirted with Spurs sums him up.
Just watched the goals back and what's so obvious watching their goals is how similar they all are. All of them are cracking finishes by Fulham but what's worrying is our lack of desire to close balls down that we initially defended and then break to the edge of the box for a Fulham player to be all alone to finish it. Bernardo for their 3rd is appalling, waves a foot at it and then just doesn't even attempt to close the ball down, similar from the team for Iwobis goal. The 4th again where Donna punches it clear and no one reacts apart the fulham player who scores.
It was a crazy game but until we either get Rodri back or another DM to play with Nico, we're going to continue to be wide open.
What if you get 6 points out of 6 in those two games?Think it’s quite obvious this team won’t win the league not unless we make some crazy signing in January which is unlikely.
You can’t concede 6 goals in 2 games and seriously challenge.
Seems some cunts do need reminding we won.Any other prick in this thread wants to shut down any discussion and criticism of what happened today by reminding us it doesn't matter because we won?
We took off our defensive midfielder at 5-1. That was likely part of the problem.Could have been a 5-8 scoreline!
Perhaps this is the game where Pep starts to seriously consider two DMs. We have to get control of the middle when the momentum shifts. It does naturally during a game, but this season I've noticed long periods of the team being stressed and under the pump. A couple of years ago the opposition would have a two/three minute spell of having a go, and we'd quickly administer a slap around the chops. Not anymore.
But a win's a win. Well done fellas.
I think cause most people can't ignore the obvious. We were fantastic in the final third and it was great to watch. However, our defending and midfield was a car crash again and you just can't ignore that moving forward. What if you get 6 points out of 6 in those two games?
We did win didn’t we? Just that reading the forum seems like we lost.
I don't think you've remembered that correctly. We were down to 10 men for almost the entire game against Fulham during the treble season and the lads ran through brick walls to get that 2-1 win over the line.
Lots of praise in particular for KDB and Bernardo.

Ait-Nouri is unlikely to improve us defensively unless it's part of a plan to move O'Reilly into midfield. I am not too worried as we took off Gonzalez at 5-1 and we have Rodri coming back soon (fingers crossed). While we are starting to find our rhythm again going forward, Phil has the spring back in his step, I feel we are just so open down the flanks. Our full backs are midfielders so naturally they drift inside looking for the ball which leaves us exposed.
You don't replace a Kyle Walker, and certainly not with a midfielder, no matter how much he improves. Rayan Aït-Nouri needs to be starting every week and we need to buy a right back in January to shore up the defence.
Our full backs is like asking a bricklayer to rewire your house !!
Bold prediction but I think we will be top of the league going into the New Year.
