Will we win the league this season?

The fun thing about this thread is scrolling back a couple of pages to call out some clown that has completely overreacted in the heat of the moment during a past match weekend that didn’t go our way. Stay tuned while I find someone…
Whilst you're busy searching for somebody to insult, maybe you could stop for a minute and predict how many points we'll take at Palace and Forest (2-2 and 0-1 last season)?

Then if you're right we can all scroll back and applaud as you'll obviously know more than any of us.

Well his posts have proved that he knows a damn sight more than all the bedwetting fannies who swamp this thread with their ill judged negativity.

Mind you, and not intending to damn him with faint praise, so would your average primary school kid who knew anything about footy

4 points

Happy to be wrong if it is 6 though

A bit like some clown overreacting to a home win against a newly promoted side. We played very well today, similar to how we didn't play that well on other occasions this season. If football doesn't cause over the top emotions then maybe snooker is the sport for you.

The recovering Foden and Cherki have lifted a tired City.

I don't think the rest of the football world factored in Cherki but City fans will be hoping that today was more than a flash in the pan.
Foden is the big lift. Haalands goals were carrying the team , and as hes quietened off foden has really stepped up

Completely agree that football imbues some extreme emotions in those that follow it, and with that in mind I sincerely hope that you’ve been able to move beyond your pathological hatred of Treble winner Jack Grealish.

Oh I don't hate him at all, I just don't think he's been fit for purpose in his time at City.

Our best eleven is better than any other in the division. I think we’ll easily prove the most consistent out of all the teams in the league bar Arsenal and it isn’t unlike them to bottle it.

The way I see it, our team has much more upside than Arsenals does. This is arsenals best and most consistent squad, with the exception of maybe Gyokeres, none of them are going to improve above what they have already shown.

We have Cherki coming into the fray, Marmoush yet to stake a claim, Rodri to come back into the fold, Reinjders to find consistency.

Imo our biggest risk, is that balance is only ever right when Bernardo, Nico and Foden play, and it’s a big ask to hope they all stay fit enough to play most games.

I disagree. No way do a 10 man Chelsea last season hold out for a point last night. They have something about them this season. Whether that’s enough to go all the way we will see but if Cole Palmer reaches anywhere near last seasons levels they will be a very serious contender.

Reece James was head and shoulders the best player on the park as well I never realised he had that in him as a midfielder.
And again…..
