They deserve their own thread, now they're well in the mix.
The win against Arsenal today helped us out immensely. A bit the their 2-2 draw, at the Emirates, a couple of seasons back.
They've gone quietly about their business, including a win over us.

It wasn't a 2-2 a couple of seasons back, they beat them 2-0 at the Emirates.

I must admit, i didn’t realise that they were so close to the top, until I saw the table after they beat cheating Arsenal.

It has to be said, Emery is a top-class coach.

Emery is a world class coach who has the team better than the sum of its parts. As easy as it is to ridicule Arsenal, this is a tough away game for any team

I watched the second half in the ground to avoid the rain outside and they were excellent I thought and the win was well deserved.
Ok, I've had a bottle of champagne and a lot of whisky. I might be missing something here. What were you doing for the first half? Were you just standing outside the ground?

The Harvey Elliott situation is a little strange. Villa aren't going to buy him so won't play him as it will trigger a buy out clause.

A £35m permanent deal will be triggered if he plays in 10 Premier League games.

Elliott, who starred for England Under-21s as they won the European Championship last summer, is not in the squad for Thursday's Europa League tie at Basel.

His last appearance came as a late substitute against Feyenoord in the Europa League on 2 October.

"We are speaking with him and about his situation. He is not here with us," Emery said when asked about Elliott on Wednesday
