Last Film You Saw

No much of a film critic but watched "I Swear" on Thursday and it was a mixture of emotions.
Some laugh out loud swearing mixed with sadness of the struggle, angry at the teacher but that's how it was.
I enjoyed it as I like real life stories.

“Nuremberg” with Russell Crowe As Goering and Rami Malek as a US Army Psychiatrist analysing Nazi War Leaders ahead of the groundbreaking War Crimes Trials. Good performances all round but Crowe especially so.
Enjoyable and riveting film, never flagged 8/10.

Tried to watch “Inception” because of its strong cast and great director but drowned in all the plot complexities to the point where I reached the conclusion this was just unbelievable bollocks and bailed. Maybe another night I’ll give it another go.

Nuremberg definitely a recommendation

excellent british court drama (based on a true story) seeing through a 12 yr olds eyes a trial of his elder brother and himself for the charge of murder of their abusive step father

a compelling watch

The long walk.. was looking forward to this, turned out to be a pile of crap 5/10 and that's being kind cos I'm in a good mood

Muppet Christmas Carol excellent 7.5/10
Tinsel Town absolute dross 4/10
Nuremberg brilliant watch and maybe people in USA need to watch it as a warning of where their country is going 8/10

Teachers in the 80s only wanted to give you the belt for any excuse. Especially in Scotland.

His Mum however had no excuse to be so ignorant to her son's plight. Maxine Peake as Dottie is superb.

Zootropolis, again, before going to see Zootropolis 2 in the cinema sometime soon.
It is really good, I like it lots, it sets a high bar for Z2.

Troll 2 Norwegian film not bad similar to the first mindless fun 6/10
Home Alone 2 one of my favourite Christmas films 8/10

Sicario.
Emily Blunt as an FBI agent who is recruited to join a drug task force on the border of USA/Mexico. With Benico de Toro who I haven't seen since he was a baddie in Licence to Kill and he's filled out in middle age and his looks have definitely improved...mmmmmmm nice. Not a bad film. 7.5-8/10.

Trump would have pardoned them.
