Will we win the league this season?

I reckon we'll win more than we lose of those away games.
Let him wallow in his fucking defeatist misery.

Uses Sunderland in both examples, one to say we've only beaten a newly promoted team and then in the next sentence says we may not win at Sunderland away.

We may or may not win the title but as 'shit' as we are according to plenty of folk on here and in the press, we are two points behind the unbeatable dream team Arsenal.

Palace play in Dublin on Thursday, our game’s 2pm Sunday.

Even if it was Saturday, there’s nothing wrong with playing Wednesday-Saturday.
This has got to be a wind up?

Thanks, db.

No it isn't a wind up Gordon!

If I knew Palace were playing in Dublin on Thursday , I wouldn't have posted that. I don't follow the European cup competition Palace are in.

I'll give you I got the wrong day. Lol!

Sorry did I miss us winning the title?

I’d love to be eating humble pie, but it’s mid December and we’ve just nearly blown a 4 goal lead to fucking Fulham and beaten a newly promoted side at home.

We may be 2 points off top but we’re 9 points off 12th.

We still have to travel to Liverpool, Chelsea, United, Spurs, Palace, Everton, Sunderland, Bournemouth and Forest. Going off how we’ve played on the road there’s a reasonable chance we don’t win any of those.
If you genuinely think there’s a reasonable chance that we don’t win any of those games, then I suggest you get a bet on. I reckon the odds are pretty big on us not winning any of those games. I’d estimate 33-1/50-1

I hope we can sort out our defensive woes, because we’ve got the highest rated attacking triad — and we can even include Cherki, the creativity maestro in that mix. Barring injuries, they can genuinely carry us to the title. But I still maintain we need a midfielder like Anderson before we run Nico G into the ground. The kid is doing superhuman work, and it’s not sustainable. And if we can add a high-scoring attacker on top of that, it would be absolutely massive for us. If we can't keep out oppositions from scoring, then maybe we should outscore them.

Pep said in his pre-Real Madrid press conference that the team that wins the domestic title is the one that grows as a team through the season. I mention this as this has been discussed before. I think that team is more likely to be City.

It's an obvious point but one you miss when you think about the season match by match.

Imagine that City meet Arsenal in the latter stages of the Champions League, that would add spice to the domestic rivalry

Write us off at your own peril

Even if we drop points at Palace I am very confident we are getting our title back this season

Heaven knows you’re miserable now

Rather than who will win the title I prefer to think what do we need to make it us who wins the title. I think someone like Anderson of Forest would be perfect - help Nico G shield the defence and would also help transition defence into attack, and would take further pressure off Rodri, who hopefully returns in January.

That win will hopefully give us the confidence now to know we can win the big games on the road. We haven't looked that way so far this season.

If Rodri comes back and Haaland stays fit then I can see us having a VERY good season all round. this time of year is when we have our traditional wobble then go on a crazy run in the new year. I'm sure this is not a coincidence and Pep & the coaches almost reduce the intensity now knowing we will be there when it matters.

9 fold accumulator when you’re betting against the favourite in every one? Way higher than 50/1 I reckon. Stick a tenner on that and you’re winning big time.
