That speech was projecting his intentions.

The left hate him though and love Angela. Feels like that is a bitter sweet relationship.

Not sure about anybody else but I do like Streeting. Tells it as it is.

He’s one of the few ministers in recent memory who actually come across as being on top of their brief. Ben Wallace and Jess Phillips are the only other two that immediately come to mind.

Just listening to Streeting’s statement to the house. Very fair offer to end JD strike and delay impending strike action. Tried hard but BMA in no mood to delay the action.

The same Streeting that gave them a pay rise of 5.4% this year and they've had an increase of 28.9% in the last 3 years - the highest of any public sector group.

Angela was raging about her bill being watered down.

Her and Wesley started plotting. I'm not sure how it would work as I doubt Angela would want to be deputy again and Wesley has always wanted to be top dog.

a near 30% increase and way more than any other public sector is not a derisory offer. BMA are being unreasonable and undermining the entire trade union movement.

When we were talking about wages are resident Twitter feed poster was extolling that a plumber should drop prices to win work - the very essence of a race to the bottom. We need a higher wage economy not a lower one.

The socialists of the last 15 years are now Tories I’m afraid because it’s their sides turn.

Nope, just lying in my pit feeling a bit rough after a heavy night so cheering myself up by having a Bluemoon day.
Dont worry, I should be able to escape Spain soon, already been here 2 weeks longer than anticipated and be back in Mexico when I'll happily leave you to it for another 6 months or so. :-)

Disappointing GDP figures today.

Funny how 0.1% can be described as a "significant" fall and in the next sentence they same 0.1% was "barely noticeable" when it was referring to growth. That was a financial bloke on radio this morning.
