Not blaming him at all. He has really developed at AthleticoDeserves to be the main striker of a team and would always be behind Haaland here. Can’t blame him one bit
He's a willing runner, just like Jesus. Not a lot more than that. Like Jesus, pretty much a one-season wonder.
Jesus had a goal or assist every 100 minutes for City in14000 minutes. That's consistently top-tier output across multiple seasons.
His biggest problem was injuries, which have just got worse at Arsenal.
I feel for Omar. He never gets minutes and then he comes on for a 5 minute cameo he understandably doesnt look match fit. AFCON might be a good chance for him to shake off the rust but no good if he just comes back to the same bench

I think the only comparison with Jesus is neither of them seem to know the offside rule.Didn’t do to bad for us when he signed last season, without him we wouldn’t have got champions league football. Also unfortunate to pick up an injury during the early parts of this season.
I find the Jesus comparisons baffling, but anyway.

We persuaded him the year before by doubling his salary but he still wanted to go.

Marmoush will get starts in the 2nd half of the season. We'll play every 3-4 days after he returns in January and we'll need him.
Right now Pep doesn't want to disrupt the performances of the new team he's building. We are not sufficiently stable and have to play the best available team in almost every game to stay in the big competitions.
Hopefully we'll be more settled in 1-2 months, especially if/when Rodri comes back.
