The shameful thing is that Pep completely disrespected the victims of the synagogue stabbing and the whole Jewish community by making those remarks hours after that cowardly attack. It was crass and grossly insensitive. He also probably breached the club's social media policy as well. He deserves all the shit he gets for that.
How did he disrespect the victims of the synagogue attack in Manchester by talking about atrocities in Gaza? I think the club not posting support was wrong but I think having a go at Pep is wrong.
My understanding is Pep never made comments about Gaza until a speech accepting an honorary doctorate, so almost 2 years after the conflict & 4 months before this despicable attack. His speech was not political but questioned the pain he felt seeing children suffering etc
