Last Film You Saw

It’s actually called “Sicario - the day of the Soldado” and it’s good - just a little short of the original imo.
Last Stop in Yuma County is also well worth a watch…we really enjoyed it. Some vibes of “No Country for Old Men” but largely set in a remote roadside diner/gas station.
Just watched this after reading your post and thoroughly enjoyed it

"Blue Moon".

Difficult film to talk about because it doesn't essentially tell you too much about anything after the first 15 mins happen. In a way, that's not true, but it's extremely limited as it's just a character study in Tinsel Town. The question becomes; do you care about someone who's, seemingly, shallow on the surface which is the heavy-handed nod to the title ?

Ethan Hawke is good without being amazing. That said, I'm not sure why he wouldn't win an Oscar for a slightly above average acting performance, when he's established in Hollywood.

These types of films were ten-a-penny back in the day, so for Hollywood to come full circle doing a paint-by-numbers rendition?

For me this was... meh.

The Phoenician Scheme - those who are team Wes Anderson will try to rank it by its quirkiness percentage, the rest will just hate it!
Definitely better than Asteroid City, but The Grand Budapest Hotel was the peak.

Started to watch 2 films and had to turn them both off, as they were terrible. The Wrecker with Harvey Keitel and Wildcat with Kate Beckinsale and Charles Dance. They were painful to watch and the acting came across as amateur. I honestly don't think I've seen worse films!!!
