The ending was a shame, the years previous to that though? Deserves every bit of credit for his part played in the best period of being a blue in my lifetime.

Excellent at both ends of the pitch, and apparently not feeling the same fatigue as some of the other lads who are also playing every game

Do you know that hadn't even occurred to me.
Clearly just happy to be playing - and he's doing a remarkable job.
Most improved player in the last 12 months by a mile.

After the derby last year I’d have been happy to never see him play for the club again. However the amount of improvement since then is catatonic! I don’t think I’d want any other right back on the planet over him at the minute fair play Mateus!

He’s made the position his own. I still think he has the odd mistake in him but his improvement in the past 12 months has been great. Dare I say it… we don’t need to buy a right back in the summer.

That's my point, he's another player who wasn't RB but is now one. Making the most of the situation he finds himself in but that comes with errors from time to time.

People were too quick, he just needed time, the good thing is he should get even better the more he plays this role. Another problem was because of a few big mistakes people were calling him out for every little one, errors that every player makes during a game.

People are actually wrong about Nunes at Wolves, in that he didn't have a steady position and was moved around for them also. They tried him in multiple roles and he didn't nail any down.

People assume we bought him because we didn't get Bellingham and he plays centrally. It may be right but we've obviously never stated that. The definite truth is that we saw some attributes that we liked. Now we've found a way to utilise them.
