After 20 or so games I've got to give Donna his dues.

I am still not 100% convinced with Donna's passing his way out of trouble with his feet (like how we used to do it for years with Eddie) but a decent shot stopping keeper in there like Hart.. maybe even better than peak Hart.

Donna could definitely use the practice of a few rondos and coming out to clear with a better punch!

That said its still gonna suck losing Trafford though. Really liked and had high hopes for that kid! :( (I hope he goes to Bayern or somewhere we don't see him twice a year)

No. Not at all, my point which most people seemed to get was that what you lose on his distribution he makes up for with his shot stopping….simple point really that clearly went over your head

Eddie was the best keeper in the world for us, maybe not the best in the world for anyone else but for us, at that time, there was nobody else as good.
I loved Eddie, I was a keeper myself in my playing days so that position is always one I hold in most regard but his time was up, he was a shadow of his former self in the last 12/18 months.

Donna is a different beast. He's going to become a City legend and I'm right there for it.

I do wish that he would sometimes come and catch the ball rather than punching it. Nothing stops an attacking team like a keeper claiming the ball imo. I guess that is not his style though - I will have to get used to it.

I just found £10. I really wish I had found £20. What a bad situation. Oh well. I suppose finding £10 will have to suit me.

Agree with what you say.
I however think until his last season Ederson’s shortcomings as a shot stopper were masked by a very solid defensive set up (and the presence of Rodri) in his previous years with us. He generally didn’t have an awful lit to do in that department.
Donnarumma is a more complete keeper and his distribution is actually pretty decent and will only improve with time. Whether he becomes a legend depends largely on how the team in front of him performs but he certainly has the attributes to become one.

No not at all. I didnt want him before he signed but he has defo won me over. Abs no complaints from me, hes a different keeper than we are used to but he has some other world class attributes that i love. We dont have to worry about this position for a good few years now.
