I agree overall he made some good runs that either dragged markers or were unnoticed.
I think for me, it's kinda sad that's what we might be potentially molding him into, as another 10/second striker type.
It doesnt feel like we need more of those, I was and still am kind of hoping he can truly be more of an 8 and help deeper with build up.
His physicality is obviously a big problem currently. My hope is its just him not yet accustomed to the league yet but it might just be who he is, and maybe he has to just be a 10 for us.
And if that's true, he is purely a backup then, because id much rather a Doku, Savinho or Bobb as an inverted winger to let Foden be the 10, since he is better.
