This is Jake he reached the grand old age of 16 at the start of December, sadly his health has been deteriorating the last few months, today he passed over the rainbow bridge. I’ve never really been a cat person but he was more like a dog an absolutely belting cat. My daughter is devastated he’s been with her since she was born and calls him her best mate. Her first word was CAT! He put up with us getting two spaniels and showed them whose boss and was never any trouble, he will be sorely missed. RIP Jake.
Beautiful boy . Rest in peace JakeView attachment 177883

She’s held it together better than both me and the wife, buried him the garden in a sun spot he used to love, bloody pets rip your heart out :(Sorry to hear that mate, hope daughter ok
You know what there’s no need to come on this thread and say that, I’ve always been a dog person but my cat was wonderful, I’ve had both and the right ones are beautiful creaturesBloody horrible creatures, give me a dog anyday.
Merlin was like that when i got home from hospital, that and running round me yapping away , it was really funny and lovelyI hope people have seen the utube vids of returning soldiers being greeted by their cats. The cats ‘shout’ and jump for joy. One I saw turned a backward somersault. Yep, they do really love us.
Couldn’t you have kept that thought to yourself. Insensitive comment.Bloody horrible creatures, give me a dog anyday.
But they'll kill us once they learn how to open packets of cat food.I hope people have seen the utube vids of returning soldiers being greeted by their cats. The cats ‘shout’ and jump for joy. One I saw turned a backward somersault. Yep, they do really love us.
