I went in Nov and having done that climnb again and sampled the frankly shit view again I vowed that was my last time there and Ill be sticking to it.
Disgrace that they put all the away support up there.
Got a lift up once before but as you posted the view is shite as well.
I take it Sunderland is the same crappy set up as well.

Not quite as high but still appalling. Why are the rules different for Newcastle and Sunderland to everybody else? Out of principle Id always locate their Away support to the upper rafters of the ground until such time as things change.

Im old enough to remember the time - in an FA Cup Final - when the Palace keeper clearly and deliberately handled the ball outside the bix to deny a goalscoring opportunity; VAR saw it, looked at the clear rules breach but instead just didnt apply the rules and brushed it under the carpet - indeed it was laughed off and hardly anybody batted an eyelid afterwards.

Yet a marginal - and it was genuine 50-50 - decision in a Carabao QF seems to have inspired the usual shitstorm of retrospective comment and outcry, the likes of which way exceeds the frankly scandalous Cup Final non-decision by a set of officials in the countrys supposed showpiece game. Remarkable stuff.
100% true it was scandalous and hardly got a mention
And dont forget the keeper off the line before Marmoush kicked the penalty

In the 1st leg, Newcastle will miss Schar due to suspension, and Dan Burn due to injury. I think Livramento has an injury concern over his knee again (from the Fulham game) but Newcastle are yet to learn about its extent.

Apparently Sunderland are doing a rejig and next season, visiting supporters will have pitch level presence.
For some reason Man U and Newcastle will be allowed to continue to not comply with PL regulations

It's the worst away, absolutely dogshit and they don't get enough shit for it. Nou Camp runs it close but you kind of expect it off those shit cunts.

They were pretty quite in all honesty :D
Well i suppose that Brentford are pretty low key opponents, and not likely to fill their allocation, it was chucking it down with rain all night, and we're only about a week away from Christmas, so I can understand why the crowd was a bit lower and quieter than usual ..... quite a lot of player changes too, from both sides.

It was a response to a comment from @Buckshaw Blue who I thought was jesting about my not attending.
I said in the match thread - I take my hat off to those who attended, and feck anyone talking about our empty seats etc.
If you want my reasons for not getting to games these days they're listed elsewhere on a number of threads

Newcastle say it would be difficult to arrange segregation both sides of the visiting fans. The fact most other teams manage it seems to have eluded them. They put the visitors next to the end of the top shelf so only one segregation break is needed.
The view we get at the swamp is OK, and probably better than a pitch level view.

Anyone know when the dates for these will be confirmed?
Given we are playing on Sunday 1st Feb you can pretty much be sure the 2nd leg will be Weds 4th Feb.

As both teams are playing Sat 3pm in the FA Cup on Sat 10th Jan - and City are in the Saturday 12.30 slot in the Derby on Jan 17th - I'd also wager we will push strongly for Tues 13th for the 1st leg.

Cheers booked cancellable rooms for both

First leg can be played on either Tuesday or Wednesday (although we won't want it on Wed given early kick-off on Saturday), but the second leg can only be on Wednesday (for us).

Hi mate. Do you know what allocation City will be given for this? What did last year's semi final opposition receive for the equivalent tie?
