If we don't see him in January I would be gravely concerned.
 
How long left on his contract? No murmurs of him extending....
I guess could be a sign we worry he wont be back to his best or he already sees his future elsewhere.

I'm concerned, he looks scared of challenges which he never was before

Its understandable but for the first time he cant rely on his body and the way he approaches games shows that. Not jsut the injury but the injury was the culmination of being overworked for a few years, his body was pushed to it's limit then it snapped.

Still think we can get 80% Rodri back, his passing range is still phenomenal

He will never be the player he once was but he can get back to being an exceptional midfielder once again.

Anyone expecting Ballon d'Or Rodri back, even this time next year after full recovery, is going to be disappointed.

Very rare a footballer can in effect have 18 months out after a serious career threatening injury at near 30 years old and come back the same player.

I am more concerned whether or not he signs a new contract in the next few months. If that doesn't happen he wants out in the summer, and City won't allow him to run down his contract.
