Is this a common turn of phrase, or a Chopper reference?

I mis read it at first and thought it said VVD and was shocked they finally had the bottle to call it out but silly me, no one in the media is even talking about his challenge that was similar to the Spurs red and the story telling us that theres nothing wrong with the 2 handed shove for their goal. That's Van Der Ven getting death threats then. If he's really unlucky, he might get one of those Sean promises too.
Yeah, but remember that "goal" against Spurs that was disallowed, never heard the end of that did we.I mis read it at first and thought it said VVD and was shocked they finally had the bottle to call it out but silly me, no one in the media is even talking about his challenge that was similar to the Spurs red and the story telling us that theres nothing wrong with the 2 handed shove for their goal.
Btw wasnt it also last season in the cup VVD got away with a blatent red, elbow i think v Spurs
Son was a nasty little twat.Son put a stinker in on De Bruyne (I think), too. I know he did, because my flatmate at the time was a Spurs fan who always upheld this belief that Son is as clean-cut as they come on the field.
Yes it was. I'd apologise but it wasn't my fault. I'm a victim of a poor memory. It was Harry Kane and Dele Alli who got away with it that match.
I played on with an injury at youth football for over an hour, scored a header in the 2nd half. Next day went for an x-ray. Ankle broke in 3 placesThe fact that he limped off does not prove that isn’t a fracture. Not saying it is but the fact that he was putting a bit of weight on it proves nothing
Sounds very similar to Bobb’s injury. Might be season over for him.I've just read on the BBC Website that scans confirm that the Swedish striker* has broken his leg.
*I'm not talking about his position.
BBC now showing the Santa express, on the East Lancs railway. The train goes from Bury to Rawtenstall. The Beeb have managed to fill the train with scousers. Fuckin unbelievable.
After reading the pitiful bleating by them on the BBC comments about whether Van der Ven should have been sent off, and the list of red cards missed, even going back to Pickford, I posted “ my god, the Victims are out in force today”.
It got pulled.
How do you know? His injury is much, much worse than Bonn’s. The recovery could be until next season.
And the doctor said; “don’t go to those 3 places again”…I played on with an injury at youth football for over an hour, scored a header in the 2nd half. Next day went for an x-ray. Ankle broke in 3 places
Well said NinjaAs we know all too well with Bobb, a fractured leg can be a tricky thing to recover from, its not just the healing, its the re-strengthening process too. Could be a "just" a few months, or could miss the world cup, depends on the severity of it.
He might be a dipper rat but can't be gleeful at his injury, hope he recovers fully. I can however bask in the dippers finding themselves short in attack after breaking the transfer record twice on attackers this summer as well as buying an additional £90m striker.
Sweden won't be in the world cup, so he needn't worry about that.As we know all too well with Bobb, a fractured leg can be a tricky thing to recover from, its not just the healing, its the re-strengthening process too.
