Gvardiol and O’Reilly had their worst game together in some time. Texted my brother about how soon it would be before their fucking about on the left side was going to cost us. Well, this time it didn’t, but it didn’t help and put us under needless pressure.

Gvardiol was at fault for the goal, too. Was slow to see the play develop and left himself in no man’s land, hanging O’Reilly out to dry with 2 at the back.

Cherki? MOTM, but you could have got that from anywhere!! ;-)

That really was a tough game. They were buoyed by the Robertson passing acknowledgment and they played the best they have all season. But we defo have a new mentality compared to last season and the difference is getting the old Phil back and having Cherki who is our likeable, lucky mascot. Rodri to come back will give us a few more cutting passes in the 2nd half of the season and of course just his presence.
Oh and Dyche, you moaning bitter cnut, go and eat some gravel with sh1t on it!
 
Great win in a very difficult fixture....not the prettiest football you will ever see but we ground that result out and we were the only team trying to play football so its also fully deserved.
Also the games around Xmas/new year are always a bit of a struggle and not the most fluid of performaces so again at a tough away ground that is a great result.

Thought we looked a bit open through the midfield at times (more than we have done recently) but great goal from Cherki and a good goal from Reijnders (still needs to do more however)....
Thought NOR struggled today....not sure why but he definitely did and Donarumma has GOT to stop the flapping at crosses -its just encourages the other team.

Nico G with another good performance and Gvardiol was mostly solid as well.


Haaland very quiet today but he distracted their back four a lot and we didnt create much at all for him.

That Jesus fella upfront for the was literally throwing himself to the ground anytime one of our players went near him...embarrassing from him....pathetic attempt to cheat at every opportunity.

3 pts and move on - we will play better
 
Brilliant mentality to come through a very tough fixture. Could Forest play actual football? Occasionally, but preferred to dive and cheat, got their just desserts.
Cherki will deservedly get the headlines but this was a team performance where everyone played their part.

Ah yes, the referee. In a game where we had about 4/5 shots on/ off target, had between 65/70% possession throughout the game, 'committed' approx 13/14 fouls to their 3(!), yet we had I think 4 yellow cards to their one......
Each week literally seems to be another trough in officiating, absolutely dodgy as fk.

What a bunch of whingers both fans and players they were. To think dyche was an apprentice under Brian Clough, just disgraceful.

Anyway top of the pile!
