Oh sod off, sent off Dias for what ? the first yellow was barely a foul on that diving **** of a striker, and his second foul was accidentaly clipping that same **** of a striker who made the most of it, that same **** of a striker btw got away with a knee high studs up challenge on Foden without even a booking.

We also should've had a pen in the first half when Cherki was clattered but apparently if you've already taken a shot the defender can do whatever he wants to you.

As for the second goal, after watching what teams have been getting away with on corners especially on keepers since the Tarquins started that shit, there is no way they would've disallowed that for Gibbs White throwing himself to the ground, for once the ref didn't buy one of their dives and of course the six fingered prick is moaning about it.

Forest are a typical Dyche team who only want to spoil the game and make it ugly. Igor Jesus time and time again out his hands on Dias/Gvardiol to initiate the contact, backed into them when touched fell over. Dias very silly to get involved in his nonsense

He "let the game flow" for 80 minutes and then they got pissy when light wrestling didn't go their way in a goal having done much worse all game. The tantrum makes all the better.

It's not a foul to lean on a player and then that player clamps your arm under his and then deliberately falls over taking your arm with him making it look like a shove.
Equally it shouldn't be a foul when a player initiates contact and throws himself on the floor, time after time, yet the cheating **** up front for you got one every time, so stop moaning you ginger ****. You reap what you sow.
One shot on target you twat, you got what you deserved.
 
Had to fight for that, against a physical team that bizarrely featured a centre forward who should be wearing a ballet tutu.

Shows our growth, last year hugely debatable whether we win that or cave in, shows the squad character.

They could have disallowed our winning goal, but gibbs white did go down very easily. It's the kind of decision where refs nowadays wait and see. If Nico scores there it's likely knocked off but gibbs white has the chance to get back up and affect the play. He could have blocked it, luck of the draw. I'd say it's karma for the way they threw themselves all over the floor for free kicks throughout the game..

The referee wasn't great at all, despite that decision for us. He carded Nico and replays showed him being fouled and Nico not actually touching the other player. Of course, Forest wanted a penalty and I think he capitulated and gave the foul and yellow as a middle ground. But he didn't card that wet wipe for tackling Foden in the knee, despite a var check for a red card. Arguably that player should have seen three yellows in that match, one for diving, one for the Foden kick and one for asking for another player to be booked.

TNT spent a while praising their centre forwards plays too, despite the fact replays were repeatedly showing him going down before the ball arrived. In one play he does that, the ball is headed to Gibbs White who looks for the through ball, only his forward is busy scampering back up off the floor after yet another Tom Daly special.

Football gets the referees it deserves.

Managers and players play the game in an appalling manner and with lack of integrity. Fans are far too overcritical towards refs. All the managers, players and fans are too abusive towards refs.

And it all makes being a referee a shit job that only wankers would want to do. Therefore the talent pool of refs is small and poor.
 
Tremendously gritty win against a horrible bunch of divers whose sole aim appeared to be to fall over in areas where a free kick would have allowed them to hoof it into the box.
Funny how Nick Harris et al don't seem to be remotely concerned about all the cheating on the pitch (see Dorgu's pathetic head knock injury count last night) yet wet their panties over alleged off field book bending from 15 years ago....it's seriously weird how on field cheating is almost encouraged.
Cherki turning into an absolute diamond, has the ability to look out of it for most of the game then come up with match winning moments like today.
Can't wait until a fit and firing Rodri is back.
Delighted by that today, tough place with an over excitable crowd. Hope they go down, reprobates
 
Ref was shite, forest are a rugby team, but a great win for City and the results continue. Cherki was class, Foden grew into the game well and Nico Gonzalez is fast becoming our most important player. A good result
