Nottm Forest (A) | PL | Post Match Thread

Tough match, don't play particularly well, take the three points nonetheless. Ominous for any rivals who happen to be around…

By the way, how good was it to see Rodri out on that pitch clapping at the end?
If he is on the pitch playing peak Rodri we win this league in a canter pal

Who the fuck would want to be a referee in this day and age.

You only have to watch Dyche today to see how impossible the job is. He’s screaming at the ref for a foul when his striker flops to the floor but also screaming at the ref when he gives City a similar foul.

Then you have the media begging for controversy to talk about.

There is a bit of Merlin in Rayan's positioning and dwelling in pockets, there is this Mahrezian confidence about him when on the ball; Reijnders good when in and around the box when ball is going vertically, those of us who watched him in AC Milan know he is good in those situations; shout to Bernardo and now Foden that sacrificed their creative game for the team. They ran a lot, not surprised Pep is mentioning Phil's defensive game. I see it as the only way poor Gomez could last 70-75 minutes at full capacity, Pep is using him as a cheap soap, nothing will be left when Rodri is hopefully back.
Still, it was a tough watch, but are we really in the title race, really? :) :) :)

That had the feel of an FA Cup game away against a lower league side.

Crowd up for it and appealing for absolutely every single decision to go in their team's favour. Opposition players who know they can't match up technically so "putting in a shift" and engaging in some of the dark arts, in conjunction with match officials who were only too happy to oblige.

City struggling to control the ball and therefore the game, but digging in and doing what was needed to get over the line. Fantastic effort from the boys in blue, sorry grey/green, I thought Gvardiol, Foden and Cherki really stood out.

Having seen Dyche's post match interview, absolutely staggered that he thinks they only lost because of the officials and so many decisions going against them. But he's always been a bitter twat so I shouldn't be surprised.

Did you watch the game?

Gvardiol and O’Reilly had their worst game together in some time. Texted my brother about how soon it would be before their fucking about on the left side was going to cost us. Well, this time it didn’t, but it didn’t help and put us under needless pressure.

Gvardiol was at fault for the goal, too. Was slow to see the play develop and left himself in no man’s land, hanging O’Reilly out to dry with 2 at the back.

Cherki? MOTM, but you could have got that from anywhere!! ;-)
Yeah I did, especially first half.

Ref was shit for both teams, he could have sent off Diaz and the could have disallowed the 2nd goal.
And could have given us a penalty. Like you said, useless for both.

Forest are a typical Dyche team who only want to spoil the game and make it ugly. Igor Jesus time and time again out his hands on Dias/Gvardiol to initiate the contact, backed into them when touched fell over. Dias very silly to get involved in his nonsense

If we can get Anderson to replace Bernardo (in his current role) we’d be some team next year.

Dyche says this everytime his team is beaten by us he is a kunt and the sooner he gets the boot out of premier football the better it will be! One good thing Forest owner has a twitchy sack finger so he could be gone before end of the season
Dyche was setting up his post match whinge with his behaviour during the match..he moaned at every decision ...the guy is a fucking hypocrite (as most managers are tbf) of the highest order.

Hope he is sacked or relegated...or both!
