Will we win the league this season?

If we sign Semenyo then we’ll go on to win it. Injuries permitting too of course.

CF - Haaland/Marmoush
RW - Cherki/Savio
AM - Foden/Reijnders
LW - Doku/Semenyo
CM/DM - Bernardo/Rodri/NicoG/Kovacic

Of course some players can cover multiple positions buts that’s the crux of it. Arsenal have depth but they can’t match that for quality. No chance

F*** it, lets also add Anderson and Guehi in January and win another Treble!
Ian wright saying it’s a game City should win anyway. I did see him give a big huff just before the break. They will be definitely bothered by this result. Let see if the arse can beat these convincingly, after all Brighton are a bit under strength. But they won’t mention that.

No surprise that Arsenal eventually won, but not another convincing scoreline at home to Brighton. Arsenal keeping on dragging wins out at home and away. That’s a good sign of a title winning team, as we know. Arsenal have Villa at home, Bournemouth away, and Liverpool at home next. We have Sunderland away, Chelsea at home, and Brighton at home. The next 3 games will be crucial to both teams.

They'll fluke a win v Villa, beat Bournemouth and draw with the Dips. Or of course each opposition could carry on the season of goodwill and continue in the tradition of gifting them points winning own goals and penalties to secure yet another ill deserved 9 points.

Another question. Why so many home pl games atm? That will be 4 out of the last 6. Hardly fair, especially around Christmas. Meanwhile City have to travel ruddy miles to hard to get places. Need Arse to North East UK in December, instead of staying cushty in North London. Distinct unfair advantage imo.

And whilst I'm at it, I am furious that the Rags get 2 home festive games - full house and rake the money in. Meantime we get shunted all over the place and our December games are all against not much interest opponents in the run up to Xmas when folk have other things to do. The PL fixture generator is anything but 'random'. They know what they are doing. Nb Dips also got home games. Makes you wonder.....

It’s just the way the PL computer drew out the fixtures. ;-)

Look at it another way. Arsenal have more away games leading to that period. We have more home games. Hopefully we can achieve a points cushion before the end of the season that will see us through to the end of the season and those Arsenal home games.

It’s all up in the air at the half-way stage.

The CL, FA Cup and Carabao Cup fixtures will also have a huge say on the title race next year.

City.

Away.

Burnley.(fighting to stay in the PL or relegated?)
Everton.(nothing to play for?)
Bournemouth.(fighting to stay in the PL or relegated?)

Home.

Arsenal.(title decider?)
Brentford.(nothing to play for?)
Villa.(playing for a CL place, difficult)

Win our next 4 against Forest(A), Sunderland(A), Chelsea(H), and United (A), and I will start to believe.

Winning those games will set us up nicely for that really tough period at the start of February when we play Spurs and Liverpool away, which in all honesty, I am expecting the biggest shafting from PGMOL known to man.

That week will define whether or not Arsenal or us wins the league for me.
Maybe it will for you but in reality the remaining 20 games we play will define whether we win the league or not

Amazes me people banging on about Semenyo - a flavour of the month winger standing out cos he plays in a struggling team

We score goals for fun, a hit and miss wide man isn’t what we need

Every game is crucial……we need to just keep the momentum going
