I disagree, he glanced at where he was and ran across him. Knowing full well he'd trip him, it was a yellow for me. But saying that, it wasn't a yellow in the 1st half.
But it wasn't what is deemed reckless. That's the only issue here.

"Careless is when a player shows a lack of attention or consideration when making a challenge or acts without precaution. No disciplinary sanction is needed
Reckless is when a player acts with disregard to the danger to, or consequences for, an opponent and must be cautioned
."

That's the official wording and it (the foul) clearly doesn't meet the definition of reckless.

They have introduced a paywall for their ‘premium’ content. The success of The Mill and its subscriber model has absolutely put the shits up them
Can be bypassed by copying the link and pasting into archive.ph
Its website is already all but unreadable, like all Reach PLC titles, and now they want people to pay for that spam and pop-up atrocity against the user experience? Hilarious and doomed to failure

The Mill btw does some occasionally interesting stuff but imo the articles are often written from a preconceived position
Also run by former out of town student reds so its very biased in that regard. Publish uncritical nonsense about FC Tribute Act while laying into our owners etc
Most of all they do exposes of sexual misconduct - bar owners, council officials etc - yet hilariously, and with breathtaking hypocrisy, gloss over the behaviour of its founder when he briefly worked in the US. His predatory conduct towards young women he managed was brutally exposed in this long read

The thought that any Reach website has premium content is laughable

Stop
They have now got us, us a club on the wrong side of an awful lot of bad decisions, justifying why we're not getting penalised for more.

I agree with this. Careless rather than deliberate.
Problem city have now is we are again becoming the team everyone wants to beat Col and I genuineley feel the crowd does influence referees. Newcastle away, yesterday, Villa..all prime examples.
City simply have to be better and take out that scenario by being the best on the pitch.

Commentator joined in with every howl made by the Forest fans yesterday - not surprising really since he is one himself.

I don't care how much the sheep listen to the media, motd pundits, opposition media, Dias didn't deserve to be sent off for his performance yesterday. Those two tackles amounted to 1 yellow in reality. And reality is not something those pundits apply to the shite they talk about City.

That some City fans listen to (ex-utd) fanboy pundits and the bile they come out with about City is just about as worse.

Their pov is that anything that hurts City helps utd. Don't fkin listen to them
His first booking was for dissent and not the tackle I thought?

I cannot believe the media shills are taking onboard Henry 8th Dyche's shit. The fat **** was watching a different game to me. City basically got fuck all off Jones, all afternoon.
And yet the Dippers get a free pass again by the ref, var and media about Chiesa’s elbow to the Wolves players face yesterday. Not even a booking.

It was an accidental tangle of legs , he didn't trip him on purpose.
Agree. Knowing that he was already on a yellow he knew it would be absolutely stupid to do a deliberate trip and risk a second yellow. For once the ref applied common sense. Nothing to see and give the free kick which is aways given in these situations.
