Nottm Forest (A) | PL | Post Match Thread

It's the never-ending narrative being pushed that we're somehow getting away with it and always getting the benefit of decisions. The Premier League should warn Dyche about his post-match comments and consider charging him with bringing the game into disrepute. Sick of the moaning fucker who is blind to all the decisions that went in his side's favour.
100% this.

Calling for a disallowed goal, video shows Gibbs white trying to foul O'Reilly.

Dias was lucky but ref thought it was a accidental collision.

Dyche is a dinosaur of a manager.

Not to mention Dyche’s gesticulating on the sidelines and in the 4th Official’s ear all game, but PEP gets the yellow!!

Hard to understand how there was a VAR RED CARD REVIEW for the studs up on Foden’s knee, yet the ref didn’t even give a yellow????
VAR protocol - intervene on possible red card, but it if it wasn't a red, they can't tell the ref it should have been yellow. (Well, they could, but the ref wouldn't give it.O

Dias may have been lucky not to get a second yellow but he was fucking unlucky to get the first!
He clearly didn’t lay a glove on Igor who went down as if he’d been shot having first backed into Dias. Little wonder Ruben objected to the foul been given and unfortunately got booked.
Maybe the ref realised the error he’d made in booking Dias at the half time interval (do they review incidents at half time?) and therefore cut Ruben a little slack for the second offence. Just maybe .

Understood. My issue was that the ref, who was close to the action, didn’t see anything of note…you know, like studs up, Foden’s knee…!

The incidents Dyche ranted about in his post match comments have since been proven false. So Forest should be apologizing for bringing the game into disrepute. Instead they make an official complaint. I reckon the FA should punish them anyway for bringing the game into disrepute.
The comedy voiced arrogant narcissistic git won't though

Agree, he now also seems to have a dinosaur owner as well to support him, how this joker is still a football manager is beyond me. The top managers of world football must be like WTF is that voice!!!

The problem is Sky/BBC etc ran with it (as its a negative City story) and just try to rile everyone up, it's the same every time a Manager moans about a decision they don't like when playing us. Bastards.

One of the contradictions of VAR
The ref doesn’t see it or makes a mistake
VAR see the possibility of a foul which is a possible red card offence so they review it and either recommend a review or not They can’t recommend a review for a yellow card
But how does a ref totally miss a potential red card offence? Var didn’t expect that level of incompetence.

City should insist on being in the room if Forest meet with PGMOL. It’s getting fucking pathetic how clubs lobby prem league, FA, PGMOL all with a willing & complicit media.

It’s corruption in plain sight & a message should be sent down to Forest.

Dyche charged for bringing game into disrepute
Anderson charged for manhandling the ref
Jesus charged for retrospective red

How can a club be sent out to cheat at every action & then complain.

A second yellow for that obvious accidental coming together would have been extremely harsh. Dias wasn't making a play on the ball nor was he playing the man. That fucker ran right across his path...

Does anyone know what sequence or minute Igor Jesus waved the imaginary card, studded Fodens knee and collided with Dias? Just wondering whether Jesus or Dias would have been sent off first if the referee was stricter.
  • Igor Jesus both collided with Dias and waved the imaginary card in the 46th minute 2nd half
  • Igor Jesus studded Foden's knee in the 79th minute
So Igor Jesus' potential red card came after Dias' potential 2nd yellow.

And Dias went to the floor first as it was Jesus’s leg clipping Dias. Almost impossible to run at full speed, trip an opponent and fall to the ground first. Total accident which wasn’t even a foul.

We should refer Dyche to the 6-1 game when Micah was brought down in the area but Clattenburg waved it away with a signal I had never seen before or since which I think indicated a coming together of legs. In that case it wasn’t in this it was and as I said in another thread Danso of Spurs was booked the following day for an identical coming together because of the grief Jones received for not booking Dias.

No they don’t have access to any equipment to review incidents not even allowed to use their phones or have contact with the outside world
Maybe the 4th official had told the ref Igor was being a **** and Dias shouldn’t have been booked for complaining for one of several free kicks given against him…pretty sure they chat about incidents at half time amongst themselves.

If the Danso one is the one I think it is, it was an odd one where the attacker's heel while running seemed to catch Danso's leg which was already planted. I don't think either intended it, but the usual thought would be that the player behind had committed a foul. The main question was whether it should have been red for DOGSO.

It's too easy for an attacker to move in front of a chasing defender and "get fouled". "Initiating contact" isn't in the laws, though changing direction to step in front of a chasing opponent could be "impeding" (which replaced "obstruction" decades ago). The temptation to initiate contact with the intention of getting an opponent sent off is high.

I do remember one derby where Summerbee was chasing his mate Best - Best just stopped dead and let Mike barge into him and got the free kick.

The mistake is thinking the PL is anything to do with sporting neutrality and integrity . Entertainment was , is and always will be it's sole purpose .

The single biggest scandal in the last twenty years is not the overheated 115 the commodification of football into a real time soap opera for an armchair audience who are as invested in it as much as I am in Simply Come Dancing .

Match going fans are merely seen as plebs to be fleeced for as many groats as they can spare in order to sit in a stadium and make memes of their favourite player, which they then share on socials .

We have a motley army of mercenaries and hacks ready to take the kings shilling and set the story before the hair gel has dried in the dressing room .

They need controversy like oxygen . We spoilt the party by winning everything and within spitting distance of the Pisscan's manor and for playing in sky blue ffs and will never be forgiven .

Getting fed up of this constant crying from our opposition. It happens the same way every time there's some slightly controversial decision for City.... The media use it to highlight City cheating again, the club in question see all the headlines and think they've got a case, demand the audio from VAR, and nothing happens - because it was all hot air from the start.

Stop crying and beat us on the pitch you pussies.
