Traitors

What’s the betting Wossy is chosen as a traitor? Vote him out quickly please!!!

It's an interesting production idea to choose them - I know they all get asked beforehand, and there are interviews which are assessed, but it's a bit different with 'celebrities' who are used to having a public facing image.

New series started tonight, which everyone probably missed live, as it was on at the same time as the game. But it’s on iPlayer. Probably picked up a few new fans after the success of the celebrity series.

Big new twist with the secret Traitor. Bit early to judge whether it’s going to be an improvement. I’m thinking probably not. But time will tell.

It would be hard pressed not to be an improvement as all the previous series were utterly rubbish

I enjoyed the celeb version only one I've watched but, thought on the back of that I'd give this a go.......it's got one more episode to 'get me'.
I think the advantage that the celebrity series had was that you knew most of the players and personalities to begin with, so you got hooked quicker.

With each series of the Traitors, I always think that they won't get contestants with as good personalities as the last series, and each time I'm, wrong. It's usually 3 or 4 episodes before you are rooting for some/despising others but it always seems worth it in the end.

I'd agree re the celeb version which I'd not have watched either but there was for these celeb stuff almost an A list of them.

I'll suck this and see...

Who noticed that when they were rowing the girl whose mother is also taking part said something along the lines of come on Mum? Yet later said she’s trying to keep the relationship hidden!
She also said something along the lines of… You’re a really loud person normally, aren’t you?’ In front of a bunch of others. Not the best secret keeper.

Also, the note written by the Secret Traitor with the three names on it definitely looked like a females handwriting. They also spelt one name wrong. ‘Nettie‘ instead of ‘Netty’ which may be a clue later on.

Another BBC sales pitch like strictly, Dr Who and line of duty. Everyone's watching!! Err no they ain't. Expect the one show, breakfast and bizarrely the news itself to be full of self flagellation.

6.9 million watch it live. With at least a couple more million to be added on for delayed views on iPlayer.

Not ‘everyone’ obviously. But very healthy numbers for any programme these days.

I didn't notice that, but it makes sense to have 2 men and 2 women.

It'll be interesting to see if they cotton on to the limiting number of options. Claudia has already said that the Secret Traitor won't name themselves. 22 contestants, 3 traitors. Three Faithful named already, so there are 16 choices left. If the next murder list is 3 new names, then there are 13 left (and some will be evicted as time goes on).

I think that suggests that the Secret Traitor should always be angling at evicting one person they've already named.

Never watched it, nor Strictly.

I have too much emulsion paint to watch dry.
