Loan Watch - 2025/26

Admittedly I've not been following him or Middlesborough much, but wasn't he doing quite well earlier in the season? I wonder what changed
He seems to have lost favour since Rob Edwards left in November for the Wolves job.
Theur new manager is Swedish but I know little about him.

So tonight Mubama got subbed off while Stoke were losing and got a mix of boos and sarcastic applause, with fans unhappy with perceived lack of effort. Several people online seem to think he will be recalled and loaned or sold somewhere else and thinks this explains the loss of form and effort.

Nypan continues to start on the bench since the new manager has come in, with a lot of Boro fans not rating him at all. The lack of playing time could be understood more earlier when the team were winning under the new manager but with busy schedule and little rest, plus a dip in form, and still not getting minutes, it looks like he needs to be recalled.

Max Alleyne does seem to be starting for Watford regularly and doing ok in a mid table team.

The question has been answered! He can’t do it on a cold, week night game in Stoke.
Stoke
Horrible racist scumbag club and fanbase, utter vermin and a BNP stronghold when they were still a thing
These nazi cretins voted the BNP onto their local council
So of course they turn on a young black kid from a club they despise. Since the Pulis days they were red cocksuckers
Get him out of there and in to one of their play-off rivals, Preston or Bristol City maybe
Hopefully he might knock the racist clayheads out of the playoffs

I am always confused why some ain’t just loaned off to Girona like Chelsea does with strasbourg beside Nypan because of of HG rule I don’t get the others. Is it that hard for English talents to move outside of the UK?

Probably because they aren't good enough to get in the starting lineup of Girona - so would also be a waste of time for everyone.

Looking at Strasbourg, many of the Chelsea loanees aren't starting regularly either. Except for Sarr, Chilwell and Enciso but they're not as big gambles. Paez and Barco not starting much.

Plus, La Liga is stronger than Ligue 1 overall, so only our very best prospects are worth sending.

In spain you can only have 3 non eu players in the squad. So it limits our loans with Girona for our English players and Nypan.

One of the reasons Jude Bellingham got a EU passport now.
Seemingly they want to clamp down on widespread loans in most leagues now, probably something on the likes of loans between PL clubs.

Milan may offer 15m for Akanji in this transfer window.
They have a clause in their loan agreement that they must buy him if certain clauses happen, like winning their league.
They are concerned that they may have competition for him at the end of the season if this doesn't happen.
I'd say we'd take the offer now.
