Premier League Games | 3/4 January '26

We wouldn't have scored a goal even if we had 12 minutes mate. We didn’t look like scoring in the time we were given, and that tells its own story. Truth is, we don’t deserve to be top right now and Arsenal have earned it, they’ve got more points and have been more consistent - in both League and CL. It shouldn't be this conspiracy theory that referees are against us.
Disagree, we had loads of chances and were unlucky not to score at Sunderland.

It is normally said, we wouldn't have scored etc if we played all night, when a team doesn't create anything, we created loads of chances. Unfortunately, 2 of them fell to Saviniho!

We
Issue is, we don't need to rely on referees. We should be beating sides like Sunderland. We've won what we've won on merit in our time of dominance.
They are unbeaten at home and drew with Arse at SOL.

We should have won truth be told but didn't because of poor finishing.

We win our game in hand tomorrow it's 4 points and we'll have a better goal difference. Beat them at our place and match them in every other and it's then just ONE point.

In that scenario I back them to bottle it before we do.

By the way, they had 5 more points 3 years ago at this stage and they didn't win it that year.
Okay, but you're just repeating what I said to OP, that tomorrow's game is a must-win in my eyes.

Disagree we were getting closer to scoring but the ref decided to blow his whistle before the minimum time
Arsenal have benefitted from 3 won goals two which won them 3 points v the worse ever PL team and the other that got them a win rather than a draw A lot of points have been gained from set piece goal’s particularly corners yeah it’s part of the game but it shows that they aren’t has good as you claim

Well I’m not worried about anything. When the real pressure is on, a game every three/four days in different competitions we know Arse-anal have the better, deeper squad.
We, however, have a better team and a manager who knows how to win. Arse-anal have a neurotic failure as manager and a team of bottlers. Bring it on.

Everyone goes on about this deeper squad better squad but is it really? They are bringing on the likes of Madueke who wasn’t even a guaranteed starter at Chelsea, Eze who it appears is on the outskirts and not rated by Arteta & Jesus who is a crock.

Who are these brilliant players they can call upon?

They ain't very strong tho. They need to win every game to get 99pts they'll be lucky to win the league with 90 as strong teams go they're nowhere near us or the Liverpool sides of last 6/7 years.

City win tomorrow this very strong Arsenal side are a massive 4pts above us and have to come to the Etihad.

Strong my arse they're just the best of a bad bunch. The quality of this league is terrible.
Shouldn’t we be pissing it then?

Today marks the return of the biggest rivalry in English football dating right back to the 16th century. It really matters, honest. At the end of the season they will look back on this as the moment that potentially decided whether they finish 8th or 10th. Doesn't get much bigger than that.

People moan frequently about the quality of the Premier League, but today we have 6 fixtures and you could make a case for a win lose or draw for any team. That's as good as it can get.

Add in Wolves getting that 1st win against the hammers yesterday, and it could yet become more interesting at the bottom. I'd like to see Forest get dragged in at the bottom, so we can fuck off Dyche, the whingeing ****.

Madueke, Eze and Jesus, to name just 3.
