I was initially disappointed that Amorim had been fired because I regarded his regime as a joke. However, I will be encouraged if the plan is to instal Darren Fletcher until the end of the season as an interim manager. This what is being reported, it feels like it is doomed to disaster.

"much" better? Not sure about that, to be honest. Yes; their league position is clearly better. Stevie Wonder can see that! But from what I've read/seen, their performances have been mainly shite this season. They're fortunate that the bulk of the mid table PL sides have been pretty underwhelming, giving them the chance to bluff their way up to 6th
I’ve had the disgust of watching them a few times and they’re definitely better mate. They now have a decent attack with Mbeumo, Cunha and Mount and the new keeper isn’t a walking disaster.

Harsh sacking a manager who has got his mid table team up to 6th in the league. A team that finished 16th or 17th last season and now 6th !
I've been saying this. They averaged 1.5 points per game this season, which is 50% better than the 1 point per game he got them last season. I reckon that's why Omar & Jason got rid, as there was a risk he might achieve 2 points per game next season.

Probably spent more on getting rid of staff than we have in paying them bonuses for winning stuff!

£88 million on severance payments! My gosh, if you were a tea-lady who was made redundant by Sir Jim, you must be so angry to read that and also see Amorim walking away with £5 million, when all you got was a MUFC mug and a thank you for all your work here.
