Save our Car-Wreck

They took the absolute piss out of us for decades, how any self respecting City fan could feel even a tinge of feeling bad for them is beyond me. I was the only one in a huge school that supported City, got stick everyday from students to the teachers. It was relentless. Hopefully Karma isn’t finished with them for years to come.
I don’t feel bad for them in the slightest, in fact I am thoroughly enjoying it, but I think the type of personality that would choose to be a City fan when we were shite, and they were the best team on the planet, generally isn’t someone that’s going to act obnoxious towards any other fans, so I do find it difficult to properly give them what they deserve. I tend to just call them out when they start chatting shit these days.

I remember when Olly the Wally was in charge the rag sycophants and ex players never said a word about him no matter how shit they were. Every other manager, Gary gargoyle and the toe sucker stuck the boot in every week.

I expect the same silence for Car Wreck, a man with less charisma than a cardboard cutout

If you ever feel the slightest little millimetre of sympathy…..

SCUM.

CTID.

As you were my fellow Blues.
The last Maine Road derby is still my favourite of those I’ve attended, though the 6-3 and the 3-1, when we came back, after Rashford's hit and hope fluke, run it close.

I think it’s probably because we went in it as big underdogs, and weren’t given a cat in hell's chance of winning.

Also, gargoyle one's arrogant comments on the eve of it added some spice and venom to our support.

And the City players, to a man, played out of their skins. Gerard Wiekens was absolutely outstanding against van Horseface.

Yes, that was a great day but for me the 5-1 eclipsed the lot. Simply because we were expected to get hammered that day. As it turned out of course we played them off the park with a team of young lads & misfits. Nothing will match that for me - not even the Sick Swan, as great a result as that was.

I wasn’t at the Maine Road Massacre, nor was I at the Sick Swan, hence why I said derbies that I have attended.

Those two are the best I can remember.

The Unfortunate One

Song for Saturday

"Oh please let Carrick be the unfortunate one
Coz Pep, he wants to have fun
Oh Pep, he wants to have fun...."
Love it, but it's a derby, let's please beat them first! How many times have we been robbed there and is it so unlikely to not happen again? This week alone can prove that.

That said, epic song choice!

Carrick's team ..........

Carricks ...

Michael Carrick's coaching team at Manchester United includes Steve Holland, Jonathan Woodgate, Travis Binnion, and Jonny Evans. Holland, a former Chelsea assistant and England's no.2....

Binnion and Evans apparently were helping Fletcher. Where's Fletch, then - recalled to Slade Prison?

5 coaches - what could possibly go wrong? How can they fail?

Get that Ginger Beer in the clown-car lads; off we go!!!
Let's hope Woodgate starts as well as he did for Madrid.

It is a terrifying thought that from this game in 1981 to the last Maine Road derby in 2002 (21 years) the 5-1 was our only victory over the rags during that period. Granted for 9 seasons out of those 21 we didn't play them, but from 24 First Division / PL attempts, just one victory.

Waving Norwich scarves in the air
Not getting your haircut
Having a stadium that’s falling apart
Increasing ticket prices for kids
Ditching meals for workers
Losing 7-0 to liverpool
A laughing stock of a football club.

That’s the United DNA (according to Gabby Agbonlahor just now on talksport. Genius!)
Aaaah, wonderfull :) long may it continue... Because this is Manshesh niiited we are talking about :) :)
