I'd say O'Reilly is going to step in to the centre more often going forward, especially if we sign another full-back. Also the way the squad is going I'd genuinly like for Rico to absorb more of Bernardos minutes. Pep loves him and it is a position that suits him. He is very experienced for a young kid already, he could come on leaps and bounds at any given time now.

He is a better option than the current version of both Stones and Ake. Both will leave in the summer leaving Dias, Gvardiol, Khusanov, Reis, Alleyne and potentially Guehi.

Guehi is also homegrown.

Also gives us greater options for flipping to 3 at the back in certain games.
