I'd be surprised if Lewis wanted to leave. He signed a new contract knowing full well he'd be a squad player. He loves it here.
He has the skill-set to be as good as a Bernardo replacement as we could hope to find and he is in-house, a boyhood City fan, experienced being around winning teams and still very young. Also Pep loves him

He has been a pretty bad full-back but the experince he has gained learning that position is invaluable. As a hard working midfielder keeping the ball ticking and picking up space in pockets helping progress our play he has looked a natural since he was 18. Will probably only get better

Palace playing their last January match on Sun 25, Chelsea H.

Early enough to have him at spurs and anfield.

Wasn't quite sure me after seeing Max doing so well and Reis/Bah on the horizon,
but a club like City ;) shouldn't go high risk, too much on the cards.

Guehi is a special opportunity and it's typical City nowadays we are looking exactly for those.

Sadly those wonderful young lads generally need some patience to break into our strong squad and have to offer a lot consistently before being part of our journey.

Get it done!

I don’t understand anyone saying he isn’t good enough he is so good on the ball reading the game. Think still long way to go to get him because palace still want silly money
Some people are still harping back to his game v Macclesfield but another 10 players were equally as bad if not worse on the day. One game and to some he`s turned shit.

I naturally usually say Manchester City. This is Manchester City Football Club we are talking about. City. MCFC. Man City. Manchester City.

Or for short 115.

I might start using the phrase on that banner -

"Who do you support mate?"

"The excuse for your clubs failings!"

We’re going to lose maybe 5 homegrown players this summer in Trafford, Ake, Stones, Bobb and potentially Lewis. So Semenyo, Guehi and Anderson was essential really. Seems good on Anderson for the summer, so 3 much needed additions. The only downside of Guehi is that we realistically have to say bye to one of Alleyne or Reis.
I kind of hope Gvardiol goes back to full-back where we get more out of his offensive game, which then leaves space for both Reis and Alleyne. Both of them is so good at the ball that they can cover more positions if needed also. We are in a very healthy spot now with so much ambidexterrity and players comfortable in multiple positions, especially defensively

In his last few appearances Rico has played very well indeed.

So impressed by young Max. Mature beyond his years and reminds me so much of a young Jonathan Stones.
