He's half right tbf. It's shit that Villa are having to sell players when they should be allowed to spend and compete properly
I’ve not delved much into their finances, but it seems that they’ve sold quite a few players, so should be able to spend more, unless they’re overpaying on wages and are hamstrung by that.

Agbonlahor on Talkshite had an absolute meltdown about his.

"It not fair, they've spent over £400M in a year. How can they be allowed to do this when Villa can't afford to buy anyone?"

He quickly piped down when Twatterface informed we've had record revenues in the premier league in the last 4 years and sold over £300M in players over the last couple of years
Someone show him Scousers’ summer window!

Not as keen on this because of the homophobia. Really hope that was just a stupid misunderstanding of messaging with his LGBTQ armband. . . but that shite has no place at Manchester City in my opinion.

I agree, and plenty of posters on here did not like it at the time. I also think it's kind of inevitable the the son of a super conservative, hardcore Ivorian* minister who still lives at home has those beliefs, but also unfortunately it probably isn't uncommon among PL players, many of whom come from much less tolerant religious backgrounds. Guehi's beliefs were exposed because he had to wear the armband, make everyone wear one and you'd likely see a 20+ refuse.

Fortunately he'll be nowhere near the captain's armband for the forseeable future so it's unlikely to become an issue again.

It's quite clear that the PSR shit hasn't just affected clubs like City and Newcastle who were the primary targets due to siding with the redshirt mardarses who didn't like " unfair competition".

The PL have fucked so many other clubs over to satisfy the wishes of the special cartel members , but that has been obvious to most clear thinking supporters since inception.

Homophobia. Give over. This is the exact reason football players should not be used as political pawns. Guehi is very religious man. To be put in that position wasn’t fair.

Whether you agree or not with his stance it doesn’t matter. There are many many Muslim players, Christian players etc who will share that belief. My point is football should not be used to promote any subject that isn’t related to the game.

And for the record I have no issue with gay people but I respect Guehi’s stance. Doesn’t mean I agree with it. And just looking into it further he promoted a message saying Jesus loves you. How is that homophobia ffs?
