I think we should be getting rid of all these in the summer. I know people will moan about Bernardo & yes he was brilliant against Newcastle but in all honesty he has been useless for the last couple of seasons & doesn't contribute enough.... I love him though.

Pep has clearly got “emotional dog owner syndrome” (best I can come up with) when it comes to Bernardo.

Dog on its last legs, can’t keep up, rallies to former glories very occasionally, but is essentially dying before the owner’s eyes. Owner can’t process it emotionally and rather than do the decent thing and let the dog retire, keeps mithering it for a walk 3x a day, which just makes everything worse.

Needs to let him go in the summer. New pup required.
