Great signing for the short, mid and long term! Seems a calm and level headed fella who is delighted to be here too!

Guehi, Semenyo and hopefully Anderson in the summer reinvigorates the spine of the team with homegrown players who are coming into their prime.

It does seem to be something that, broadly speaking, we get fairly right as part of our recruiment. You'll always get someone who slips through or someone who is worth taking a chance on regardless, but it feels like we've had a very respectable group of lads under Txiki and now Hugo.
 
Great to sign another player who should be able to hit the ground running. I have not seen too much of him - is he strictly a centre back or can be also play as a fullback (if we ever have a fully fit defence).

Should have made him speak about him almost signing for the dippers just to rub it firmly in their dipper noses.

Great opportunistic buy. Obviously we desperately need him right but but it's the type of signing you don't pass on regardless of need, Its a no lose situation and the rest of the league and Europe will be extremely jealous of this acquisition.
 
A fantastic signing and one we definitely need right now. Back 4 of Dias, Khus, Guehi and Gvardiol sorts us out for a long time and will help carry us to a lot of success.

If we can continue to refine and strengthen other areas in the summer we'll be in a position to compete for the big ones for the next 5 plus years.

Same on the Telegraph sport section. All about Chelsea’s academy and how much it’s made them. Pretty much no mention of City or even Guehi himself.
 
Absolutely delighted with this signing! He’s exactly what we need and another like Semenyo who had his pick of any club and chose us. Superb!
